Awesome mod and a very nice follower , thank you :) quick questions where can i find /craft that aweomse Helmet ?

So he is in Solitude.

He's wearing civilian clothes and wanders around the marketplace in Solitude.

I can't find him anywhere! I've tried changing the mod's position in the load order and unsubbing and resubbing but he's still not there! I also don't have any other mods that would affect the followers. I really wanted him as a follower so any help on this would be much appreciated :)

I have not updated any of my mods in the last 2 weeks, but I know that I've had the same problem with follower mods and it was my load order. Try changing the load order of this mod to load either before or after your other mod. A friend of mine, with the mods he has, had to put my mods at the very bottom of the load order. Just play around with it, you should find a load order that works.

i have had a glich with this mod that stops me from geting enay one to follow me i thinke its because of a nothere mod that is on at the same time but i am not certain can you tall me if you have updated this mod in the last 2 weeks because i like the Folower and i will see if i can help you find out what is wrong with the mod if its just another mod

1. Voice, he sounds like that Nord Mage From the Collage even refers to one of the teachers...... by name...

2. Location, it's a bit odd...

Over all, he sounds like a shop keeper, not a soldier in general.

Can you please change his voice? Just saying his look doesn't match his voice. Give him a manlier voice one similar to Ulfric Stormcloack or the City guards (etc)

Does it really matter where Trenus is found as long as he is there? As you see he is not in uniform but in civies in a market place. Sgt. Trenchburger; if you were in the military you would know that Vendors treat cilvilans differently than military personnel. That has been a fact since the beginning of recorded history. You can give Trenus any type of uniform you come up with. He is very versatile; when it comes to clothing. So are most of Jelloshot's character creations. All the Mods created in Jelloshot's inventory are two thumbs up and easy to work with.

Why would Trenus be in the market place?I think the follower should be in castle dour.

I'm having an odd issue during the Battle for Whiterun (defense), and so I had to use the "moveto player" command for my followers (Extensible Followers Framework mod), but I can't get the reference ID for Trenus.
Before ANYONE asks, yes I tried "help trenus valerius" on the console, but that gives you the Base ID, not the refID.
If anyone knows a command to get an npc's refID without targeting him (as I can't get back to him right now), please share your knowledge with me, thanks ;)

I am having the same problem. He was just talking about Master Neloth not minding him leaving... I mostly subscribed because I wanted an Imperial follower but it is a bit odd...

I've subscribed to this mod ever since it first came out and i never go into adventure without Trenus, no matter how many times i replayed the game. But since i installed the Dragonborn DLC some things got kind of weird with him. He starts saying random lines from the Solstheim NPCs that share the same voice. I'm not sure if the problem lies with my game or the mod, since i dont have any mods installed that tweak/change anything in the Dragonborn DLC. But either way, great mod C:

You can remove the Imperial armor from his inventory. He has farm clothes as his default outfit, but what ever armor you give him, he should wear.

very handsom charicter. can you put custom armor on him or will her just go with what ever's stronger then his defult.........i hate that ..... i want my fallowers to wear what i say.

@Heron Thank you! I'm so glad you're having fun adventuring with him. It's also good to know he isn't hogging all the kills. He didn't steal kills when I tested him in my game but, you never know what will happen in another players' game. :)

I wanted to say that Trenus is an awesome follower. He's useful in combat without stealing all my kills, saves my idiot battlemage from being eaten alive by slaughterfish, and also manages not to put arrows in me mid-combat (which guards and fellow Legionaires have been guilty of). I'm going to have to talk with him about his habit of accidentally defending draugr from my firebolts -- oh, and getting himself fried by friendly fire, incidentally -- but I finally got around to using this guy instead of just having him available and I totally love him. And my new Imperial battlemage is grateful for the company! Just, yeah, I'm a fan of the follower characters as well as their modder. :)

Thanks for this mod, Jelloshot. I'd really been wanting an imperial legion follower for some time - I just didn't know it until I saw this mod, lol. I would have preferred the Marcurio voice type, but it's a small matter. If anyone is wondering, Trenus is capable of being a steward in Hearthfire. I had him as a follower when I fast-travelled to my newly-built house today and to my surprise, he came up and offered to be steward. I didn't test it extensively but I had him hire a bard just fine. So I guess at least some mod-created followers can be stewards without having any sort of special scripting or whatever done.

Because the armor is in his inventory. Trade with him (take something from him and give it back) or fast travel for him to change into his armor.

"He has full Imperial Heavy Armor in his inventory as well as an Imperial Sword & Shield." - I've found him in Solitude but he's just wearing civilian blue clothes, how come?

Question, are these characters capable of becoming stewards of your Hearthfire homes? I've come to learn non-housecarl followers will comment on the house you visit after its been built up enough and offer to be a steward. Haven't tried it with one of your followers, but is it possible with them?

Thank you, Heron! I'm happy you enjoy having my mods in your game. I keep them in my game for the same reason and I have a few in my game that I haven't uploaded yet. I like having the extra people too. I didn't give this guy any faction whatsoever so his gear can be traded out for Stormcloak if desired and his story could then be he left the Imperials and joined the Stormcloaks for whatever reason :)
