Is there an actual quest behind the amulet and a way to start it or ist it just... 'there'?

Great addition to Falkreath & Lakeview… the DB needs a nearby pub! Beautiful work. Couldn’t get enough info through journals to uncover many secrets, but bravo anyway because this kind of lore-friendly lake village is exactly what empty Skyrim needs. Thanks!

I had crashing just entering Oakwood. I installed TES5edit and had it do a quickclean on the mod, and now it works. Will update if I have more problems or other solutions.

@ThirteenOranges please don't give up on attempts to put your mods on to Skyrim SE. I'm a huge fan of your work which really fit well with the wider Skyrim world.

The other places like Laintar etc are nice, but Oakwood is essential. Just love it. Especially when making a home in Lakewood Manor (which is most of the time)

@ Wandering Wolf. Make sure you have the correct version installed. Vanilla or Hearthfire.

I absolutely love this collection of Mods. Oakwood, Amber Guard, Laintar Dale etc. The really give SKYRIM the nostalgia it deserves. Especially if you're Old School like me. 1993 ARENA!

Hey, so I used these mods a while ago, but Oakwood would always crash before it even rendered in. I'm not sure, but I might have had both versions of Oakwood installed, is that the reason?

Damn, this mod is awesome. I had downloaded it right when I started the game and hadn't given it a thought. I honestly thought it was vanilla.

fixed the deleted references. mod runs fine by itself.

I also have CTD. I cleaned ITM's still CTD. Turned off all other mods and still CTD when I get Close to the area. This thing with deleted references, loot said nothing and nether did TES5Edit. Am I doing somthing wrong.

For everyone who's getting a CTD: this mod has 3 deleted references that need cleaning with TES5Edit. There are a bunch of ITM's in this and the other places mods TO made as well, but I'm not sure if those are intentional or not.

I love it! All of These Mods work 100% Anyone with issues regarding crashing, modify the load order, because the mod DOES WORK.

Still a CTD machine, Laintar Dale has no isses, but this causes CTDs everytime I get close or try to leave.

What is the difference between this and the vanilla skyrim version of this mod?

I was having the CTD issue as well, but then I noticed that though I had unsubscribed from the original, non-Hearthfire version, it was still showing up in my load order. I unchecked it and removed the file, and now everything's working just like it's supposed to. :)

Adding my voice to the Pinewatch CTDs. I loved the quaint feeling of this town, but given how I'm desperately trying to clear all of the thieves guild achievements before resuming my usual playstyle of heavy armor + shield + sword + healing, I think I'll have to disable this mod. Damn shame too, it's a nice little town to have next to lakewood.

Stormcloaks attacked oakwood and left the guards dead... Do the guards respawn?

For some reason even the Hearthfire version consistently crashes my game when I approach Pinewatch. Unfortunate, I liked the place.

You should make a note that this is incompatible with Moon and Star.

Not hearthfire compatable, and the damage for me is not removed by removing the game.

@thirteen oranges how do you start the quest related to oakwood?

This mod file has "dirty edits" and "identical to master" errors in it. This can cause CTDs when used in conjunction with other mods. It can be cleaned with TESEdit, but it is safer to just install a clean version that the mod author can re-upload.

If you use other mods, especially those that edit similar things, I would not use this mod (even though it would be pretty excellent if it were clean.)

I you have crash problems just verefy your local files in steam (right click the game, properties, local files, verefy). then it works. :-)

Do not install, it will CTD everytime you go near oakwood and that seems to be a common problem for alot of people.

What makes this and Laintar Dale "Hearthfire Edition"? I mean, how is this different from the Standard Edition?

Yes, Oakwood is crashing again! After switching to the Hearthfire edition, things were stable for a while, but now I can't go near Oakwood without crashing. This is a problem because I'm supposed to do a pickup for Sergius Turanius. Also, cannot visit the nearby Hearthfire home. Help! Can you please clean this mod as "tis the season" suggests?

Dear mod author, I have found some Identical-to-master and "dirty edits" to this mod, as well as deleted references. This can cause unwarranted incompatibility with other mods and general instability. You should upload a new version of this after cleaning it by following this guide [www.creationkit.com]. Thank you. If you have both Oakwood and Moon and Star installed, you get CTD 100% when you go near Oakwood.
