  • Updated Smokescreen's interaction with Smoke Bombs: If a Smoke Bomb is equipped, ability grants free and bonus Smoke Bomb charges. If a Smoke Bomb AND a Smoke Grenade are equipped, it will prioritize granting the free charge to the Smoke Bomb and bonus charges to both. If no Smoke Bomb/Grenade is equipped, a Smoke Grenade free charge will be granted.
  • Changed priority on the listener changing icon colors to a different number than the LW2 listener. Should resolve issues where icon colors not related to this mod (like Haywire Protocol) are being changed/interfered with.

  • Fixed Medical Specialist's interaction with Nano-Medkits: If a Nano-Medkit is equipped, ability grants free and bonus Nano-Medkit healing charges. If no medkit or a regular medkit is equipped, only base free/bonus medkit charges are granted.

1.11:

  • Finally figured out how to get mod Tags applied correctly!
  • Redesigned Quality of Care - now applies a flat boost to a cap, setting LowestHP to 35% Max HP if it was below this threshold. Previous implementation rewarded silly min-maxing like stabilizing and then reviving for +2 HP healing instead of +1 or grenading your own troops to heal them again and get lower recovery times. New implementation should be more consistent, easier to understand, and most importantly you're never rewarded for grenading your own troops...
  • Fixed Battlefield Triage - big thanks to Pavonis for fixing Field Surgeon so quickly... I knew generally what would be needed to make it work, but actually working out the implementation was definitely beyond me. Their code as example made it possible (like many things in this mod).
  • Tied Revive charges to Medkit charges. Added an additional free medkit at Med Specialist III and removed the extra Revive charge from Advanced Trauma Kits to keep free charges lined up (at default values anyway). Using Revive requires and will use up one medkit charge and the heal and stabilize ability icon counters update accordingly. Revive icon charge counters do not drop when using up the last medkit charges on healing (WAY more work than it's worth), but not having medkit charges will lock out the ability correctly.

1.10: (big update)

  • Added new ability, Quality of Care - swapped in place of Anti-Venom Stims at Corporal rank.
  • Deep Cover replaced with Anti-Venom Stims at Staff Sergeant rank. (Bonus: Without Deep Cover in the tree, medics are now eligible to roll Ever-Vigilant in the AWC)
  • Tactical Sense replaced with Low Profile at Staff Sergeant rank.
  • Fixed nasty oversight putting Emergency Aid in the AWC pool - the ability itself (like all Medic abilities at that rank) grants Medical Specialist level 2 AND Revive... and if you had it in the AWC, you would get it all (oops!)... to correct, I created a new copy of the ability for the Medic with the additional abilities and removed them from the existing ability. Updated version is still available in the AWC and shouldn't disrupt existing campaigns.
  • Fixed issue with Revive and visualization. For some reason, I had commented out the visualization line in one of the previous updates (wtf me??) so using Revive on a target gave you a ragdoll flopping about trying to exectue your orders.
  • Bad News: Battlefield Triage seems to be broken on evac (which is the majority of missions). So is Field Surgeon, which it's based on and probably Smart Macrophages as well. Not sure if something changed in LW2 1.3 or if it was always broken on evac... I'll try to get a work around in the next update.

  • Attempting (for the 3rd time) to add workshop tags.
  • Added missing squaddie class loadout (gear appears properly when a character in the Character Pool is set to this class now - no idea if this had any impact outside of the Character Pool screen, but fixed just in-case - Thanks _Omen_OZ_!).
  • Added a bunch more random nicknames and cleaned up some text descriptions.

1.01:

  • Corrected typo in AWC config file and removed ShadowOps stuff accidently left in that was being used for examples.
  • Added AWC restrictions for Reposition and Run and Gun (Reposition does not work if Run and Gun has been used - prevents confusion)
  • Removed restrictions on Reposition that require primary weapons or pistols to be the source weapon. List of valid standard shot abilities updated to include Arc-Thrower stun shots and Sawed-Off Shotgun Point Blank and Both Barrels shots.
