Ever thought the end-game crisis were a little too bland, or that the game lacked challenge in the middle before the crisis appeared?

Well here we have a new challenge; The Devil You Know introduces a prescripted race that *always* (in theory) spawns in galaxy generation called The Great Triffid Thicket. With a starting system far more powerful than most and an insatiable desire to purge and occupy every hunk of rock that can even remotely support life they will embroil the galaxy in fire and destruction.

After which you have but one question to ask when the offical crisis finally arrives with its own threat to the galaxy and inevitable engages the Thicket...

"Do you prefer the Devil You Know?"

For some reason Steam erased half of the previous description which is super annoying but anyway.

Now updated for 1.4:
- Toned down their starting system just a bit, too intense.
- Removed the clash with most base game files - including putting changes to defines into a compatible .lua.

Standard Feature List:
- Prescripted Triffid Race added, can be played but that's not the recommended way of experiencing the mod.
- Increases the number of trait picks from 5 to 6, but no extra points, in order to facilitate this race.
- Alters the personality profile for fanatical purifiers so that (in theory) the Triffids should always be purifiers.

Remaining Clashes:
- 00_Personalities
-- I Don't know of another way to change the purifier personality category without doing this and I was unwilling to create additional personalities just for this. It is mostly unchanged.
