v4.0.0 Patch Notes

Added

- sg-553

- more military clothes as requested

- full outfits in clothing spawns

- completed furnishing in more buildings and houses

- replaced some of the light fixtures that were deleted by the game updateing while i was too busy to work on the map

- a few more vehicles that currently do not show up in spawns

- RV mod

- Furniture mod and empty cabins in the woods for rp and base builders

- Money spawns for RP players {gold and cash}

- finnished FIFF gunstore and added temp loot spawns

- placed more object to assist players in navigating rooftops {seriously its considered freerunning not parkour lol look up the difference}

- sorry thats called a rant kids

- fences around some houses

- the new fishing poles are now in some loot tables

- more spawns in broken vehicles

- deer spawns in forests

- some of the forest has dead trees for realism

- snow level changed for better visability near coast and lower points of the map

- 2 deer stands in the forests

AND IM SURE I FORGOT SOMETHING.... this was a bigger update than what you guys can probably see given all the help iv had with people messageing me about little things they found testing that i polished off. Keep buging me with bugs its very helpful to critique this for me.

Problems im working on

- warning light and florecent lights from Zyrmox lights pack were all messed up from the games recent updates so there is no longer blinking stop lights to add to the earir 30 days of night feeling.

- Not sure if this is just me or not but rocket server gives a strange error when launching my map now. Let me know if you have issues with this and i will be happy to try and help make your server work so i can see if its realy my map or not.

v3.9.3 Patch Notes

- removed some duplicated objects and some places that cause a framerate hit

- fixed civ zombies dropping high tier loot instead of what i wanted

- furnished a lot more rooms and offices

- re-baked navigation for locations with new objects

- started working furnishing the military bases

- removed Zyrmox construction pack hazard cones that conflicted with the city pack mod (the bug placed giant buildings in its place across the road)



should be the most stable and complete update so far

I am going to wait some time before makeing a big update or just release when i finish because the smaller updates proly make it hard to launch servers

v3.9 patch notes

- Made a lot of progress on furniture

Ok so I'm leaving that first bit just to make a point lol

Big thanks to My new bro Revvy and Captain_Crunch44 for Ideas and Bug reports for this patch and the TODO list



===v3.8 brings the fallowing:

- Added bedroll spawn table that i had forgot...

- Deleted some of the over abundant Indigo berry bushes and will continue until thin enough to just be a lucky survival find

- Added 2 cabins in the woods on the West and North West wilderness in support of the furniture mod i will not implement for stability purposes due to the fact i already have a ton of mods and heavy snow running.

- Decided to keep my map unlocked for anyone who chooses to edit it
This is also in support of any mods that would need spawns placed like the More military clothing or any future gun mods.

- Added more furniture around Celltross City

- Deleted floating light i somehow missed cleaning up after an edit

- Placed more civilian guns around Celltross City and the temporary cut and paste houses in Ever Shores Residential

- Placed hidden loot under several furniture objects and in more disabled vehicles since they were not spawning frequently enough. This was a good thing because it enables more randomness between witch vehicles commonly spawn loot

- A few ladders placed around Celltross city buildings and positioned some air conditioning units for those who use parkour skills.

- Added lights to Grocery store

- Made a makeshift office chair that i placed in a few office locations

- Began Furnishing a higher level on the Entakt shipping Office

- Placed the construction loot tables i mistakenly colored the nodes too similar a shade of orange to the Hardware Loot tables so thos are now fixed

^ this means lights ladders and different types of wood planks will spawn for crafting purposes - and the lights and generators.

- Changed title of mod on workshop back to just (Scarf) instead of Scarf v3.7 or v3.8 because of the confusion when setting up a server since the map name will always be "Scarf" in the Unturned\Maps root directory.
I remember having these issues too at one time and want to keep it simple for newcomers.

- Now requesting more feedback and critique from any youtuber that would like to showcase my map. I need an intro video and Fraps hates my new ultra wide aspect monitor so i figure i can just cut together review footage and return the favor by applying their advice.

===TO DO LIST===

I Have had great support from everyone and i am listening to the feedback

some things that have been mentioned were:

Not enough guns - i assumed they meant in town so i added the extra civ gun
spawns

Not enough ammo - i added more ammo boxes as a separate spawn table so guns or clothes don't spawn in their place. Will have to get time to test this Tuesday.

Add more cities with big buildings - I hear this one a lot and to be honest if you knew how big i plan to make the Amfork City you would not feel the need for multiple lol don't worry i will keep a good balance between destinations of interest and a confusing maze of snowed out roads and depleted gas tanks to thwart your return ;)

as for those who don't think that mags of their preferred weapons spawn enough i assure you thats one of the only things i did balance already. Keep in mind im going for a semi-realistic map here and in real life u cant just slap any bullet in your gun and call it good (at least not if you enjoy your face the way it is) in a true survival scenario you would be reduced to scavenging full weapons at times due to the massive variety of calibers and mag feeds that weapons have evolved through over the decades.

that was my only excuse so far so keep the problems come'n and i keep the patches come'n =)

1 last thing i am adding (this will set me back a bit in completion)
Someone has requested that i add more scenario based sites throughout the map were military weapons can be redistributed to prevent the influx in the military base.
I like this idea and will be working on this as soon as i reach completion of the main city furnishing. I do have a hidden crash site with spec ops gear in the woods and after testing i have decided that if i keep them small scale i can do more things like this without taking from the vast arctic hell i created for people traveling.

V3.7 Patch Notes

- Moved spawns closer to city

- Deleted spawns with poor line of sight to a town or some were with clothing

- added more spawns in main locations and in the city

- did more work on new locations

- added separate loot table for ammo boxes to make them drop more

- added food and clothing spawns to the military base (FOB Bravado)

- added a few more pieces of furniture

- added many new clothing spawns near player spawns

==To do Next Update==

Currently working on completing the furniture in Celltross City (main city)

once finished with the main city i can release a "Quarantined" version of the map were
Everyone is Quarantined inside Celltross with a militarized theme as per request.
Effectively making a great DM map witch is the new craze that seems to be going around like a cold with kinder-gardener's... but you know like with guns and zombies.

For those makeing servers with this map thanks for the support and be sure to delete the (chemical lights) from Zyrmox in Bundles/Objects/Small/Traffic/ Chemical_light -green - blue -red
as they are causing ID conflicts lately. Will be notifying the mod creator when i get the chance.

v3.6 added Temp loot spawns at unfinnished areas for public release

Have been working on the player spawns today... still working out a good system to get to clothes in time.

i may put more spawns in town or create more clothing spawns but if i made more clothes the gold servers will have waaay too many clothes so i will play around with people testing this and see what i can think of.

Still wish Nelson would make the cold damage adjustable....
