New Units Patch

- Pershing & Flammenhetzer have been added with fitting requirements and 5 veterancy levels
- Minor veterancy requirement adjustments for some British units
- Existing rangers have been replaced with the new Ranger squad from the commander (5 men, rifles, upgrade to SMGs)

British Balance and Tuning

- British infantry start at 5 men per squad with all costs adjusted accordingly
- Upgrade squad size research removed
- Tuned anvil/hammer costs
- Tier 3 building (vehicles) no longer requires Tier 2 to build
- Forward HQ cost adjusted to require less manpower but more fuel
- Retreat point research cost reduced
- Veterancy for emplacements has been adjusted (mortar pits in particular should level slower)
- Commando squad size increased to 6

Overall, the British should be less manpower starved due to research and the required second building and Sapper squads, and they should be a little more flexible now.

British Patch

The British hare now fully integrated into the strategic style of FoW. Balance and changes will occur within the next few weeks, so comments and suggestions from players will be greatly appreciated!

The British changes include much less THIS or THAT in their tech tree. Hammer and Anvil are still applicable, but they change less. All units are available, but certain techs are still unlocked by these choices.

Five veterancy levels for all British units are included. Some of these will be changed and tweaked in the future.

The BASE HQ building has a healing aura that can be activated. A similar feature will likely be included at the US base. This will also allow the removal of three-man MEDIC squads that the US and British have available.

The Firefly has been altered to be more fitting with other tanks of its quality. The reload time has been reduced significantly, and its cost has been increase. It is a potent weapon.

Fixes
- AEF can now upgrade and retrieve bars and bazookas properly (this was broken by the latest official patch from Relic)
- StuG tanks can no longer suffer damaged turrets

Balance
- Some light vehicles and halftracks have had marginal improvements to armor and health
- The ISU-152 has been restored to its former glory with damaging HE shells (deflection damage) and criticals against vehicles
- ISU-152 AP shells now cause greater damage against vehicles than HE shells

Fixes
- Adjusted Pioneer vet 4 bonuses to include accuracy and repair time in line with other engineers
- East German halftrack flamethrower upgrade no longer requires an unavailable upgrade

Balance
- Many light vehicle costs have had their fuel costs reduced slightly (5 - 10 fuel)
- Upgrades for certain light vehicles have had their costs reduced
- East German and Soviet infantry have had their veterancy requirements adjusted to be more consistent and viable (this will be monitored for future changes)

Relic Patch Edition

Balance
- Balance changes in Relic's last official patch are now implemented
- German T2 building now costs 15 fuel from 20 fuel
- German Assault Grenadiers and Stormtroopers have slightly more health
- Soviet AT weapons have switched (76mm and 45mm are now in reverse buildings)
- East German Puma is now 70 fuel to match and effectively combat T70 rushes

Fixes
- Adjusted upgrades so that overlapping upgrades on Panzergrenadiers and Grenadiers are no longer possible (avoids wasted munitions)
- Added missing tooltips and veterancy descriptions for several units
- Added an additional veterancy bonus to veterancy 4 Combat Engineers

- MG42 upgrade for Grenadiers no longer requires an unavailable upgrade

Balance
- PTRS AT rifle accuracy has been adjusted to longer be so deadly against infantry at medium and long ranges though it will still be potent against vehicles and infantry in close range

Balance
- West German built Flak AA emplacement (not the base emplacements) now have 5 levels of veterancy
- West German vehicles not previously changed now have reduced veterancy requirements to compensate for other faction advantages
- West German PaK 43 veterancy levels 4 and 5 have been improved
- Artillery emplacements no longer cost munitions to build
- Artillery emplacement barrage abilities now require munitions to fire
- Artillery abilities such as precision strike have had their costs adjusted

Fixes
- West German Sturmpioneer build menu has been reorganized

Fixes
- German halftrack will no longer risk main gunner being killed by small arms fire
- Adjusted some UI errors

Balance
- West German infantry have had their experience requirements streamlined to better reflect their background (units will now vet at a similar or slightly faster pace than other faction infantry)
- West German heavy tanks have had their experience requirements streamlined to better reflect their background
- With vehicle criticals posing greater threats to vehicles (light vehicles in particular), upgrades for halftracks are now available at a reduced cost to increase their viability
- US officer dispatch prices and times made marginally cheaper
- US Rear Echelon squads have had their price slightly increased in accordance with their accuracy and ability buff
- West German Obersoldaten prices adjusted with the removal of the MG34; Obersoldaten now have the infrared STG 44 upgrade package available by default and will come with four assault rifles

Fixes
- Vehicles that have had the loader injured no longer display the loader injury icon long after the debuff has been removed
- Vehicles with front engines (halftracks, scout cars, etc.) now receive critical engine damage only when taking shots to the front
- Vehicles no longer have their loaders injured from small arms fire or flame weapons
