More minor tweaks to soundscapes, small bells and whistles, misc fixes, and brought back the navmesh, remade from the ground up, sadly very expensive but nothing i tried worked to make the size lower so it bloats the size quite a bit even after trying to squeeze it down with Navmesh Optimizer.

if someone can make a more refined and optimized one ill include it officially.

Minor tweaks to soundscapes, fixes, added extra func_breakables for AMS for the cascade, made some map audio use sources sound characters, placed some extra cubemaps, condensed the breakable boards to A17, and replaced the health chargers in Area 3 with the Medical Lockers from the Half Life Alpha for variety, the brush comes from Absolute Zero.

Overhauled all the map ambiance that used ambient_generic, to instead use sources soundscape system, plus a plethora of fixes to prevent the sound engine from being overloaded as much as possible, and some misc unrelated fixes.


easily the most painful thing ive done with the map so far as i spent 4 days writing the soundscape script alone.

Baked map assets into BSP itself, content pack will still be retained for stuff not used on the map but intended for server use and backups of unpacked assets, redundant but its to fix a specific issue regarding map textures being overrided.

Made all rotating doors besides for a select few flagged to also when touched counts as being used, and added the HL1 locked sound to said doors when locked, this is required to avoid a engine bug and why the doors used the default locked sound before.

Updated the maps lightmaps to generally look better and be more optimized in places where it matters, squeezed some extra space back while still keeping it looking good.

Technical update due to asset restructuring, minor fixes here and there, made the A17 teleporter lights properly use selfillum, it has the flags but the texture itself lacked the things it needed so it did nothing.

Changed logic on Topsides doors to better avoid them closing in your face and better vis-culling when closed, repurposed unused map entites for other things, made map use more func_detail after rearranging a few map pieces, more im forgetting.
