04/09/2024 Update 11 - Discovery, Rebalance, new Colors and WIP Shell:

++ Found a way to fix the Akimbo support for trigger animation, waiting for the devs apply the fix.
+ The point blank damage went from 28 to 20 damage "Even at 20 still OP"
+ Added new colors
JNPR +8 colors
+ Added a WIP Shell
Blue Shell

"I'm learning how to use Lua in GMod, hopefully its gonna help me alot in the future."

29/08/2024 Update 10 - Perks, Tracers, Heat and Recoil:

+ Added Perks Slot. "This idea came when i was playing other gamemodes like Horde"
When equipped with a LVL 2 Perk, you can add a LVL 1 Perk too
LVL 1 Perks:
+2 Shells

LVL 2 Perks:
+4 Shells
Strong Heavy Attack

LVL 3 Perks:
+6 Shells
Stronger Heavy Attack
+ Pellets

+ Now the Ammo changes the tracer color.
+ Changed the shell speed. "Now it goes like a normal bullet"
+ Added heat effects. "Thats so cool"
Now shells glows the more you shoot the weapon "It may explain why the shells glowed when ejected in the yellow trailer"
The barrel also gets hotter
+ Changes on the recoil to fit more on the weapon. "More to change in the future"
Light attacks makes the recoil go sideways
Heavy attack have a strong recoil punch
+ Rebalanced the weapon damage and accuracy. "Was OP in medium ranges"
The min damage went from 4 to 2
The peak ramp damage distance went from 4 meters into 3 meters
Lowered the mid damage distance from 10 meters to 8 meters, and damage from 6 to 4
Increased overall the spread of the weapon
+ Little sound change when using Heavy Attack. "Still far from ideal, it needs more punch"
+ Moved the weapon sounds into a new folder.
+ Muzzle effects are now on by default.
+ Changed Trivia information.
- Disabled the Custom Shells attachment due to engine limitations.
- Disabled Custom Shells related .Lua files.

"Lots of things happened, and i still wonder if i should consider the Crescent Rose by the end of October"
"But anyway, i got lots of ideas for the Ember Celica, i just need some time"

10/08/2024 Update 9 - Small changes:

+ Resorted the movesets attachment, now it is Light attack and Heavy attack attachments.
+ Fixed the default preset.
+ Attachemnt .lua files are now easier to navigate.
+ Learning about custom animations. "At the moment its working the fixes, but not correctly yet"
- Mostly studying.

"Sadly the reason of the updates being really slow now is lack of time and tasks to do, but i still active"

05/08/2024 Update 8 - Small changes:

+ Now its possible to leave "Move Set" slot empty. "Planning the Move Set rework and new attachment"
+ Now has a "Skin slot" (rwby_ec_skin)
+ The custom shell color is now hidden until you select custom shell ammo. "Still doesn't work"
+ Sending the bug reports to the ARC9 devs to fix bugs that affects the gun. "Not sure when or will be fixed"
- Failed attempt on having mixed ammo. (Firemode was just getting broken for some reason)

* Development of a new project related to the gun

"At this point the gun progress will be very slow, waiting for fixes of base, but i will try implement some ideas"

04/08/2024 Update 7 - Aiming Animations:

+ Added and modified animations.
enter_sights
idle_sights
exit_sights
*fire_both
+ Fixed FOV change when aiming.
- Discovered new bugs. (Need to report them to the ARC9 devs)
"And i was hoping the aiming animation would fix the move set change bug, but it didn't"

"Now i need to take a break from this project (try to), 5 days in a row making changes and updates drained me out"

02/08/2024 Update 6 - Camo support and Ammo textures:

+ Removed unused audio files
+ Now the camo slot have support to universal_camo. (Will work with most camo addons)
+ Fixed the missing aftershot effect.
+ Changed the muzzle effect.
+ Now switching ammo type will change the shell texture.
+ Added an experimental ammo called Custom Shell. (Not working at the moment, possibly will be discarded)
An extra color slot related to Custom Shell. (Does nothing)
- Failed attempt on having second custom color. (Shells)

01/08/2024 Update 5 - Improved reloading sounds, Presets and Camos:

+ Fixed the date text of update 4
+ I Forgot to mention the damage balance changes in the previous update
+ The ejector bones are now properly angled
+ Removed "Shell Ejecting" slot for not being accurate most of the time.
May add the shell ejecting as an inspection animation
+ Supressed a lot the voices while reloading
+ Added presets: Default (More stable) and Dev Favorite
+ Added camos
Ruby - Red
Weiss - White
Blake - Black
Yang - Yellow
- Confirmed ARC9 limitations "need to report these issues and hopefully gets fixed"
Delayed particle triggers
Delayed trigger animations with akimbos (like trigger_left or _right doesn't exist)

"I wasn't expecting this weapon requires new changes in ARC9 in order to work properly"

31/07/2024 Update 4 - On progress Muzzle effects, shells and fails:

+ Added QC attachments "calculating and placing cords manually..."
+ Muzzle effects and shells effects! (Still on testing)
Added an temporary attachment slots to enable and disable effects.
+ The ammo slot is now integral.
- Failed attempt on fixing muzzle particle trigger too early. "ARC9 limitation"
- Failed attempt on fixing delayed trigger. "ARC9 limitation"
- Failed attempt on having both effects trigger without problems. "On research"

"Didn't had much time and most of the time i had was cracking my head with these problems"

30/07/2024 Update 3 - Reload animation and Ammo type:

+ Ammo slot changes (attachment)
New icons for the ammo types
Added 1 ammo type (Firecracker) "I may change the name later, reference from BBTAG"
+ Changed the shell texture to be more accurate to the ammo type used.
+ Removed "slugwhistle.wav" from the files. "old experimentation with entity launching"
+ Rig fixes
The drum bone its now in the center of the circle. "was causing the drum go in and out when rotated"
The right pump bone is now angled -180º, instead of -178º. "visual glitch when pumping back the gun"
+ New animation (Reload)
Placeholder sounds "needs more improvement or new sounds"
Dumps the ammo in the mag when you reload "for somereason it doesn't delete the ammo"
"Needs more polishing in the future"
- Failed attempt on fixing the weird texture on the gun. "the texture image is not the issue"
- Failed attempt on creating a new bone in the QC. manually. "needs more tests"
- Almost nuked the project
- 6 Hours without internet "hours straight making this update"

29/07/2024 Update 2 - Workshop screenshots, Spawnmenu icon and few fixes:

+ Added in the Workshop page of the addon, screenshots
+ Added an icon for the Ember Celica in the Spawn Menu
+ Added another attachment slot (ammo), for future additions
+ Fixes
Fixed the huge amount of force when hitting an object or ragdoll with the gun shot (from 40 to 4)
Fixed the damage graph at "Stats & Ballistics" (DamageMin from 2 to 6)
Cleaned some unusued codes (old UBGL mechanic)
In trivia, changed the Caliber text from "12. gauge" to "12. Gauge"
- Failed attempth on fixing knockback issue when changing movesets

"There nothing more in coding to fix or to make for now, just animations and textures to deal with"
