Flat Buffs:
Compartmentalized Heat Exchanger weight reduced to 2 tons and heat cap set to 6 from 4.
Reduced Cooldown penalty on Proto-PPC Cap
Gauss capacitor heat penalty reduced to 1.333x from 1.5x

Flat Nerfs:
Compartmentalized Heat Exchanger cooling rate reduced to 0.3 from 0.4 and weapon heat multi set to 0.85 from 0.84.
Gauss capacitor cooldown penalty increased to 1.125x from 1.075x

Version notes:
Just for the time being, added a YAGDM patch that prevents uneeded quirk overload on some mechs. Hopefully this is just for the Beta builds of YAGDM.
Getting close to catching up with adding quirks to all the modded mechs.

Weapon Overload-Laser heat cap bonus reduced to +6 from +10
Maelstrom energy boat quirk removed. Mech as already obsurdly strong due to quirks

Version notes:
Some changes were made ahead of time to integrate better with YARW. That YARW update will be after Sep-16th 2024 sometime.

Fixed Headhunter Hero mech from YACHM: Engine cap was too low and ballistic quirk did not apply

Targeting Computers re-worked: Offer more range, -spread and -recoil buffs but have less powerful or the same buffs in all other categories. Their stats
are also more consistent between their available tiers.

Added Jump-Jet Fuel quirk for Faction Variants.
Added Earthwerks quirk for Faction Variants.

STK-HH laser duration quirk reduced from -25% to -12.5%
Cooling lines and exothermic housing conflict in the same location with Exchangers now. They still prove to be very strong though.
Proto-DHS cannot be combined with Cooling Lines
Removed Kodiak's +5% cooling rate and added +12.5% structure repair cost
Weapon Overload-Laser heat cap bonus reduced to +6 from +10

Version notes:
Cooling lines + Exothermic Arm mount nerf: With these pieces of equipment being so strong, they often found themselves in any mech build that needed
good cooling (assuming they were available). Even with their new changes, they are still extremely useful and ideal for heat intensive builds.

Release after this one will try and work on maintenance stuff. A lot more was planned for this update, but IRL things like power-outages got in the way.

Version 2.9.5
Changelog: Release 2.9.5

Bug Fixes:
Proto_Double Heat Sinks were un-nerfed as while they are broken OP in YAEC-R, I recommend using normal YAEC for now until YAEC-R is more finished.
Fixed ANH-ROM using the -ANH-MB loadout. Pretty dumb bug to have and for I though this bug was fixed already.
Fixed some YAMM-Fork mechs salvaging into the wrong variants. (Catapults turning in K2s) Thank you phfor for mentioning this issue.

Mod Changes: (Includes any changes or new Equipment/Quirks)
FWL quirk overhauled: Less of a focus on weapon quirks, and more on being well rounded. Still has better LRMs + LLs and accurcy for all weapons.
There is now economy quirks and a +50 lance sensor range boost. Damage to structure + jam-chance is increased by 10% and heatcap reduced by 3.

Added Bullhead Armory quirk for Faction Variants.

Overhauled the PPC-Capacitor so that the actual Capacitor PPC weapons stand out more. PPC-Cap renamed to Proto-PPC capacitor
Reason being that this equipment can apply to all PPCs in the same location, making it FAR more efficient than the stand-alone weapons.
Proto-PPC-CAP now extends the cooldowns greatly but also increases the damage by +5 for each PPC Type. Heat also increased as much as damage, but
These values are likely to change in the future. Due note, that while mostly a nerf, they do buff damage more than before for all PPCs.


Flat Buffs:
Clan DHS-Kit HS capacity increased to 2.5 from 2.4
Capellan quirk now has -20% heat damage taken
SLDF Refit buffed to have +10% structure

Flat Nerfs:
Royal DHS-Kit weapon heat reduction removed. It's still probably the best overall HS-Kit
Draconis Combine Quirk now has a +20% pilot death chance
Clan quirk now has +25% heat damage taken vs +20%. Upkeep and repairs are slightly more expensive now too.
SLDF + SLDF-Refit economy quirks are more expensive to repair and upkeep now.

Bug Fixes:
Ballistic reinforced armor no longer takes excessive damage from Re-Engineered Lasers. Its now 5% more vs 50% more.

Revamped the quirk colors: With the exceptions of faction/Unique quirks, Red = Negative, Magenta= Mixed, Green = Positive, White = All Weapons
Purple = Ballistic, Dark Green = Missile, Blue = Energy, Yellow = Melee, Grey = Cooling, Cyan= Durability (hero armor quirks),
Gold = Hero or Durability + weapon.

Flat Buffs:
Overhauled Clan Ferro-Lamellar Armor: Now offers additional damage reduction of -10% or -30% to the base -20% damage taken, but for specific weapons.
- Example: LRMs deal 50% less damage vs this armor vs the normal -20% now. Applicable weapons are usually based on weapons that deal 1 damage per
- projectile from the TT values. There are some exceptions however.
Lyran Commonwealth quirk now has a -4/8% heat penalty vs a -5/10%.
Heavy Ferro armor offers more weight reduction now (as much as clan ferro). Also costs less time + C-Bills to repair.
Avatar omni-mech enhanced with durability and offensive quirks.
Otomo mechs now have a +4 head armor boost
Spiked armor buffed to -25% melee damage taken vs -15% and now offers a -2.5% damage taken from all sources.

Flat Nerfs:
Ice-Box weapon heat reduced to -3.333% from 7.5%. Still a high value quirk to have
Otomo mechs are now more expensive to repair and upkeep.
Rifleman II and III are more expensive to upkeep + repair
Spiked armor repair costs and time increased by 5%.

Fixed Clan Blackhawk mech using the same variant quirks from the YAGDM Black-Heart. (variant names are the same.)
Fixed Missile-Fist (RA) quirk applying defense buff stats to the left-arm

Since YAGDM requires YAEC-Revived over YAEC, YARQE will try and focus more on aligning with YAEC-R vs YAEC.

Changed Ferro-Lamellor armor to be more lore-friendly and more interesting. If using YAEC, its 10 slots but 12 if using YAEC-R.

Updated ALL the Hero mechs from YACHM. I got a bit carried away :)

Flat Buffs:
Heat dissipating armor now has heat cap +5 and a cooling bonus of +10%. This armor is fairly strong now as an interestin alternative.

Flat Nerfs:
Proto-DHS -2% weapon heat removed due to how OP they are currently in YAEC-R. More adjustments are likely, but even now they are broken OP.
Equipment only version will keep the Proto_DHS as they were for YAEC. If u want this version, you'll need to swap the Equipment files out.
Heat dissipating armor now takes +5% more damage from weapons, and +33% more damage from Melee.

So many mechs got updated and fixed after new updates of mech mods breaking certain variants

Been reducing velocity boosts to missiles some more from quirks and equipment. Forgot to mention this in the last changelog, but it's an ongoing effort.
Reason is to reduce issues with LRMs not hitting their intended target properly as velocity can affect them in weird ways.

Slighted adjusted the Dragoon Hero mech.

Updated all the Orions and Orion-IICs.

Massive thanks to Nabriebi for sending the default mech quirks for all of YAGDM's new content. This was a massive time saver. So a good amount of the
YAGDM content should be somewhat updated now.

Added Black Inferno and High Impact Ballistic Faction quirks to their respective mechs

So much time went into working on things as much as possible, that i didn't have time to document it. I'm literally scrolling down the entire mech-list
alphabetically, one by one. Mechs from Faction Variants need a lot of updating, but it'll be done eventually.

Flat Buffs:
Lyran Commonwealth quirk had the mobility penalties removed. With the quirks being "side-grades" the additional penalty was not needed.
Anti-Air Targeting applies to all Large Lasers now
Jenner now has improved mobility quirk

Flat Nerfs:
Anti-Air Targeting no longer has a range boost to ballistic weapons. (The predictive targeting is the main bonus to such weapons)

Known issues not fixed on this version:

Tweaked the Stalker to apply Missileboat, LRM Platform or some other offensive quirk per variant.

Flat Buffs:
Re-worked the poor targeting quirk to apply certain De-Buffs to specific weapon types.
CRD-6T given +6 heat capacity

Flat Nerfs:
LRM-Platform -5% heat removed. Still a strong quirk for LRM boats due to everything else being useful
CRD-6T given +10% longer cooldown
