Updated for Chapter 3: Age of Heroes

New Content
  • Added 'Corrupted Totem' placeable to Sorcerous Curios. Corruption sold seperately.

Fixes and Changes
  • Necromancers rejoice! Heartrend now works from height. You can aim up at your targret, you can aim down at your target. Your target is your target. Heart rend should now be on reticle target.
  • Heartrend 'Doom' debuff now lasts for 12 seconds. This is to work a little nicer with servers that run DBNO mods.
  • Meteor now has a chance to spawn more projectiles.
  • Tweaks to meteor vfx. This is more backend stuff to make sure it spawns and despawns more consistancy, but hiccups do happen. Fingers crossed.
  • Increased the amount and chance percentages of the Hungering Blood Crystal station to give more blood crystal. Just seemed a bit low for the asking price.

Cooked for new devkit version

I will begin working on new content and QOL fixes at the end of the month when I have some annual leave from work. I don't have an ETA for when any of it will be implimented. I want to include some 'improved' versions of base game spells, and develop with some new demonology summons and content.

About version numbers. I know I've skipped around a lot, but I want my version numbers to now co-inside with the chapter updates. ie, I want this to be major version 2 for the 'age' 2; minor 3 for 'chapter 3' and the builds to reflect any changes I make within the chapter. So this patch will be version 2.3.0. If I have any updates to make, that will be version 2.3.1, and so on. These will not reflect major content updates. Yes, very persnickety.

New Content
  • Heart Rend. Necromancy. Grasp the still-beating heart of your enemies.

    Squeeze until they die. 25% chance to inflict 'Doom: Heart Rend' on your target. Uncleansable damage stacking debuff that will kill the target. If a human, rewards 'heart of a hero.' 50% chance your enemy suffers, concussed and knocked back for 75% of their health. 25% chance to 'fail,' causing not more than a flinch, and doing up to 10% damage and causing agro. Does not work on undead. !!Clan members and followers not immune!! Pro-tip: point your aiming dot very slightly to the right.

  • Added 'Samite Pouch' recipe to 'Meteor' and 'Heart Rend' feats. This is a higher-level reagent pouch found in the devkit and re-purposed for my mod. 1 Layered Silk; 10 Blood Crystal; 25 Alchemical base; 1 Sorcerer's Skull. This reagent pouch will be required for all and any of my high tier spells going forward as these spells are silly powerful.

  • Whipped up some custom spell icons and runes for casting. They should not be more visually distinct.

Fixes and Changes
  • Samite Pouch now required to cast 'Meteor' and 'Heart Rend'.
  • Too many decimal places in the encumbrance weight for burlap sack. Now .1 like all other pouches.
  • Summon Death Knight: Changed recipe to require 1 sacrificial blood in a flask instead of Soul Essence. Seemed silly to require Soul Essence twice in different components.
  • 'Heatstroke' damage from Lava Wall very slightly reduced.
  • 'Heatstroke' hazard area will no longer stick around after spell has ended.
  • Unplayable typos and boring icon fixes.

New Content
  • Death Knight now buffs the Sorcerer and their zombie followers, and debuffs their foes. See mod description for details.
  • Added related feats for spells and rituals to the Knowledge tab. These are found under the Sorcery category.

    Fixes
  • HP fixes? HP Fixes? Maybe? Fingers crossed.

    To Do
  • Make ?Meteor? a little more flashy. At present, it just kind of spawns without too much fanfare. It could be cooler.
  • Clean up descriptions, names, etc of spell and ritual names, and buffs; both in-game and on the mod page. Names and descriptions not final.
  • On-going balance adjustments.
  • Screenshots and marketing art. This is, after all, my day job.

    Notes
  • Wearables and accessories are a work in progress. Some of these may change slightly in the future, and have their weights and physics adjusted.
  • About the Death Knight buffs and debuffs: presently, this buff ignores players and fellow clan followers. If you are dueling with a clan member, and using followers, the debuffs won't apply. If you are PVPing, it ignores the player, but will apply a debuff to their followers. I may expand on this at a later date.
