3.11 Compatibility list>

Economic Categories>

  • Added vanilla script -trade = { parent = country }-
  • Added vanilla script for megastructures_gateways
  • Added a vanilla triggered_produces_modifier for planet_livestock, this check is done so that livestock working zoo jobs don't inherit the modifier.
  • Since this mod also generates upkeep modifiers for livestock, in order to keep things symmetrical I also added a triggered_upkeep_modifier.
  • Overwrited a vanilla script with -planet_squires = { parent = planet_jobs_productive } category in order to reflect vanilla changes.
  • Rehauled planet_knights category in order to reflect vanilla changes.
  • It seems Stellaris devs got rid of their "special hack" with their now removed knights_independent_category so I erased it as well. (Quote from script so it is documented somewhere and if it is used in the future: #DO NOT ASSIGN A PARENT TO THIS. #It is a special hack. The normal job modifiers apply via knights_unity/research_output_modifier script values in the jobs)
  • Added generate add & mult modifiers to planet_pops.
  • Added generate add & mult modifiers to hab_deposits.

  • Erased unused event sartekmerger.02
  • Added a NOR gate at ap_become_the_crisis' top ai_weight modifier.
  • Added ai_weight modifiers to ap_galactic_force_projection.
  • Added an ai_weight modifier to ap_defender_of_the_galaxy and lowered base factor from 20 to 5.
  • Compacted an ai_weight from ap_defender_of_the_galaxy so it works like in Vanilla. This one is used so AI does not pick this perk if they are a crisis-type country, compacted version works the same, allegedly there is no need to individually add crisis countries one by one, however due to how Gigastructures still uses the previous weight structure I left any crisis from that mod individually added to the AI weight (For example if for some reason Katsens are not detected as a crisis country). This could change in the future if this safeguard is no longer needed
  • Updated an ai_weight in ap_interstellar_dominion so it is less resource demanding, it no longer checks any fleets with a colossus instead it only checks if the country has ap_colossus.
  • Updated ap_galactic_contender ai_weight factors.
  • Added ai_weight modifiers to ap_imperial_prerogative.
  • Added ai_weight modifiers to ap_detox.
  • Erased unused modifiers: admiral_exp_gain and general_skill_levels.

3.10 Compatibility list>

  • Included 3.10 changes to economic categories, including empire size, officials, commander scripts and more.
  • Added [country_scientist_cap_add = 1] to [ap_archaeoengineers].
  • Buffed ap_galactic_force_projection with newly added 3.10 vanilla modifiers.
  • Added [country_commander_cap_add = 1] to [ap_eternal_vigilance].
  • Erased [custom_tooltip = "allow_decision_mastery_of_nature"] as it was no longer used in vanilla.
  • Changed [ap_imperial_prerogative]'s [country_leader_cap_add = 2] to [country_official_cap_add = 2] instead.
  • Changed [ap_transcendent_learning] by deactivating [country_leader_pool_size] and [country_leader_cap_add] and replacing this with [country_scientist_cap_add = 2]. (This could come back if I test 3.10 more)
  • Erased [custom_tooltip = "ap_shared_destiny_effect"] as it was no longer used in vanilla.
  • Added [country_official_cap_add = 1] and [commercial_pact_mult = 0.20] to [ap_universal_transactions].
  • Replaced [country_leader_cap_add] with [country_government_civic_points_add = 1] in [ap_executive_vigor] according to latest ESAP issues which is also the same amount with Utopian Dream.

Quickfix V3.1 (for Stellaris 3.8) >

  • There were instances when the AI would unlock perks too fast (when they prioritize unity bonuses from mods) and were able to get mega-engineering really early when unlocking AP Galactic wonders, effectively crippling their tech research due to the lack of research output or research bonuses. Thanks for the report @ShinyNobody

  • The solution is to grant them research progress (not just unlocking the techs) towards any expensive mega-structure techs, this actually makes games harder but avoids the AI getting stuck researching really expensive techs.
