Rolled back the to The Musical Update version due to issues with the WRE tag's national ideas that broke Soissons ideas. Nothing has been changed or adjusted otherwise and there are no further plans to do so.

Western Roman Update!

I want to apologize for my lack of development on the mod. Lost interest for a bit and ill be updating this mod regularly again! (hopefully)



Western Roman Empire Nation

A new country is now formable! It's the Western Roman Empire!

DISCLAIMER:

Currently there is no National Ideas so far. This is due to issues trying to make new missions, and for some reason having the localization conflict with the other localization for Soissons. Trying to fix this ASAP and will release a hotfix with the new National Ideas for the Western Roman Empire included.



To form West Rome you have to conquer the regions of Italy, Iberia, France, and own Zeeland, 2 provinces in Britain, Fez, and Tunis.

The Musical Update!



Music Time!

• Added 5 new music pieces, encompassing the power of Rome and fitting the theme of Europa Universalis!



These Songs Include:

• Romantik (by Wasca)
• Aetas Romana (by Adrian von Ziegler)
• Lonely Strategos (from Rome: Total War)
• Melancholy (from Rome: Total War)
• Autumn (from Rome: Total War)



These songs will play automatically when playing as Soissons!

The next big update will be the update featuring a formable Western Roman Empire!

Bug Fixes, Balance Changes, and more, oh my!


Bug Fixes:

• Removed the heir to Soissons, as he disappeared when the game started. To compensate for this, Brutus, the current king, has been made 20 years younger.


Balance Changes:

• Major Nerfs to the National Ideas, Tradition, and Ambition. These changes include nerfs to the modifiers of Discipline, Culture Conversion Cost, Core Creation Cost, and Diplomatic Integration Cost.
• Switched out the Infantry Combat Ability in the National Ideas for Military Tradition Decay.


Misc:

• A brand new flag! This flag is a redesign of the flag used in the Extended Timeline mod, as it looks prettier than the one previously used. (and is more historically accurate!)
• Added the Careful personality to Brutus.
• New/modified descriptions for every National Idea.
• New Images for the workshop page
• Better formatted description on the workshop page
