CHANGELOG
-The French city of La Rochelle is now known as Bayonne.
-Portugese borders have been expanded on the western side of the Iberian Peninsula to better represent its true territorial borders.
-Rivers that I don't remember the name of added to multiple locations in western Europe
-The Parthenon wonder has been added to Alexandria (wonders cannot be added to city-states; it will cause a crash) in place of its inclusion in Greece.
-Alhambra has been added to Malaga, the closest city to Granada.
-The Leaning Tower of Pisa wonder has been added to Rome, the closest city to Pisa.
-The Colossus wonder has been added to Benghazi (wonders cannot be added to city-states; it will cause a crash) in place of its inclusion in Greece.
-Unique American ship names are now totally unique and possess no duplicates. Former duplicates have been renamed.
-U.S. Naval presence expanded near Guanatanamo Bay Naval Base.
-The state of Florida has been shortened; Miami has been moved one tile to the northwest.
-Sections of the American transportation network have been redone. Again.

CHANGELOG
-The Iranian city of Zahedan has been added.
-The central asian transnational transportation network has been completely redone.

v2.4a Internal Nightly (1/8/2014)
-The strength of the Qing Dynasty (Chinese) military has been reduced across the board in terms of relative numerical superiority.
-The Russo-Japanese starting theatres of war have been shifted to their real-world historical counterparts, i.e. the yellow sea, shandong peninsula etc.
-Russian military presence in the southeastern Siberian region has been reduced.
-Japanese military presence in the southeastern Siberian region has been reduced by a large amount.
-The island(s) of Japan have received a major overhaul.
-The far western island of Kyushu has been rejoined with the "mainland" (Honshu) - to represent the Bungo Channel, a river tile has been placed to divide the two islands (the channel is too small to justify a coastal tile).
-The southern island of Shikoku is now properly represented, separated from the Japanese mainland by a small 1 tile coastal strait.
-Hokkaido has had its position shifted a bit northward and undergone a redesign - sources for the redesign include real-life height maps of Hokkaido, as well as several other maps.
-The main Japanese island of Honshu has been completely redesigned. Real-world heightmaps and political maps have been used in the redesign to properly represent it (as well as I can, I mean) in-game.
-The city of Kyoto has had its position shifted further in-land in accordance with reality.
-A new city, Hiroshima, has been added to the western end of the "mainland" (Honshu).
-A new city, Tokushima, has been added to the eastern end of the southern island (Shikoku).
-Sendai has had its position shifted (relatively) southeast; it is no longer located on the eastern coast.
-A new city, Hirosaki, has been added to the far northern end of the "mainland" (Honshu).
-The city of Sapporo has been shifted one tile to the west. Kind of. Honestly, everything got moved in the redesign. Jesus christ.
-Japanese cities have now been given proper specializations.
-Taiwan is now considered to be a Japanese colony (following the real-world peace terms of the first sino-japanese war).
-Peking (Beijing) has been shifted one tile to the west.
-Xi'an has been shifted one tile to the west.
-A new German colony, Tsingtao, has been added to the Shandong Peninsula.
-Danish ships now have unique names.
-The city of Bern (Switzerland) has had its starting population doubled (from 4 to 8).
-After much internal debate, Finland is now a part of Russia in-game. All Finnish cities serve as puppeted Russian cities (see: Finnish Grand Duchy).
-The western French coastline has been altered and expanded slightly.
-The French city of Bordeaux is no longer a coastal city.
-The game now starts in the year 1904.
-Yekaterinburg (Russia) has been renamed to Syktyvkar.
-Ekaterinburg has been renamed to Yekaterinburg.
-The city of Orenburg has been added between Volgograd and Kostani.
-The Caucasus Mountains are now properly represented in-game.
-The Ottoman city of Thessaloniki has been added to the game.
-Egyptian control of the Indian Sea has been increased to combat the Gulf of Aden being closed off by the English.
-Floating improvements in the Caspian Sea no longer exist.
-Luanda is now properly connected to other European colonies.
-Chile no longer starts with negative Iron.
-Aluminum quantites have been increased across the board for all countries by a small amount.
-Austria now starts with an extremely small amount of oil.
-A new English city, Jamestown, has been added to St. Helena.
-Ottoman oil possession has been toned down and should no longer reach triple digits without extensive international trade.
-To prevent settlement, extremely small uninhabited islands in French Polynesia have been changed to atolls.

CHANGELOG
-Ethiopian geography is now more true to real-world geography.
-The country of Anglo-Egyptian Sudan is now represented in-game. Its capital city, Khartoum, starts as a puppeted city under English control.
-Control of the Gulf of Aden has been shifted to Egypt from England, in part to help enforce and represent historical Suez Canal neutrality agreements.
-Kenyan and Sudanese borders have been redrawn; they now properly reflect the historical borders of the colonial era of the 1900s.
-French African colonial borders have been redrawn; they now properly reflect the historical borders of the colonial era of the 1900s.
-German SW African borders have been redrawn.
-South African borders have been redrawn.
-The city of Dunedin (New Zealand, English Empire) has been removed from the game in an effort to lessen the congestion experienced while attacking New Zealand reported by Australian players. Protip: Protracted land battles are really better off on the Australian mainland, not some no-name podunk island, you dumbfucks.
-The Hong Kong city tile graphic has been fixed.
-The farm tile improvement has been removed from Hong Kong.
-The Egyptian and Sudanese road networks have been completely redone.
-The Suez Canal Pontoon Bridge now has a road leading to the Sinai Peninsula on top of it.
-Western Germany is no longer in possession of polder tile improvements.
-Denmark now has a road system.
-The Western European road network has been completely redone to facilitate the introduction of Denmark.
-French control of the northwestern Mediterranean reduced; the Italian Empire and Spain will take up the territories removed from France.
-Danish border colors in the SDK have been changed to appear less immediately jarring.
-The immediate area surrounding Paris no longer possesses an abnormally large amount of chateaus.
-The country of Switzerland is no longer without tile improvements.
-Italian mainland luxury resources have been modified.
-Moscow is no longer set as the capital seat of the Imperial Russia.
-St. Petersburg is now properly designated as the Imperial Russian capital.
-St. Petersburg population increased.
-St. Petersburg defensive implements increased.
-Moscow population decreased.
-The Finnish city of Rovaniemi has been added.
-Helsinki has been shifted one tile to the east to better coincide with its real-world location.
-The Finnish transportation network has been completely redone to accomadate the addition of Rovaniemi.
-The Finnish military has increased in strength to accomadate the extra defenses needed for its new city.
-More jungles have been added to Southeastern Asia.
-The amount of oil in Norway (Sweden) has been reduced, because seriously, what the fuck, dude?
-More forests have been added to the Eastern Asian region.
-To compensate for the above change, methods to compensate for food loss have been introduced. They will not affect normal gameplay and should remain invisible to the end user.
-The geographic monstrosity that was once known as Kenya is now much more true to its real-life counterpart in terms of terrain.
-The Kenyan (English) city of Mombasa has been added.
-The Kenyan city of Nairobi has had its location shifted to better match its real-world location / maintain acceptable city spacing with the introduction of Mombasa.
-English military presence in Kenya and the greater East African region has undergone a complete revision.
-English colonial borders in Eastern African have been redone to better represent real-world colonial era borders.
-Manilla is now flagged under occupied and no longer as a puppet (following the resolution of the Phillipine-American war)
-Fort Lamy is now known by its proper colonial name, "Fort-Lamy".
-The Cuban parent city-state designation has been changed to Cahokia due to its Native American city tileset.
-The Bolivian parent city-state designation has been changed to Vancouver due to its access to the Native American city tileset.
-The partial (in)famous "Cape to Cairo" railway has been completed and is now properly represented in-game.
-Cape town has been shifted one tile to the west to better suit its real-world location.
-South Africa is no longer almost completely devoid of tile improvements.
-South African geography has been completely redone to be more in line with real life geography.
-A new South African city, Durban, has been added.
-The Persian gulf is now much more geographically accurate. Some very minor sacrifices have been made for gameplay purposes; so minor that people probably will not even notice it.
-A new Persian city, Bandar Abbas, has been added.
-The Persian-Indian(English) road network has been redone.
-The city-state of Afghanistan has been created.
-Afghanistan and its surrounding regions have been completely redone, both in terms of territorial borders as well as geography.
-The Caspian Sea has been enlarged.
-Iranian geography has been completely redone to fall more in line with reality.
-To compensate for the loss of Kabul to the Afghanistan city-state (as well as to provide a military naval presence in the Caspian Sea), the Iranian city of Babol has been created.
-Control of South Africa has been handed over to the British, because history.
-Pretoria has been renamed to Gaberone, because there's no fucking way Pretoria is that far north.
-Two new English cities - Salisbury and Lilongwe, respectively, have been added to the southern region of Africa. Because England wasn't already hilariously overpowered.
-English territorial control in the central-east African region has changed. Again. It's a net gain, though.
-Egyptian control of the Gulf of Aden has been expanded (again), obstensibly to prevent English and / or Italian players from closing off the entrance to it, but really to just piss more people off. Yes, that's right: literally all the changes I have made have been done solely to piss you off.
-Riyadh is now categorized as a puppet of the Ottoman Empire, representing its unofficial but de-facto control of the interior of the Arabian Peninsula during the early 20th century.
-Chile no longer suffers from an iron defecit.
-The population of Trabzon has been reduced to a more reasonable level.
-Starting date changed to 1905.
-Time now passes properly; 1 turn = 1 year.
-The entirety of the western Japanese island of Kyushu has been shifted 1 tile to the southwest; it is now separated from the Japanese mainland by a 1 tile wide straight and connected by a pontoon bridge.
-Should Ottoman players decide to annex Riyadh and subsequently the inner portion of the Arabian Peninsula, they will now find that the occupation penalty is not automatically applied.
-Dutch Indonesian cities no longer possess an excessive amount of defensive buildings.
-Baghdad's population has been brought down to a much more reasonable level.
-Screenshots have been updated and now properly reflect the current version (v2.3).
