Test Version 2

Got some changes. Now only 1 faction per province. Over all balance of power is unaffected. Also got a new scenario system. Sort of "Choose your own adventure style".

- You can now simply tech to level 10 in every tech to integrate Scandinavia.
- Fixed a bug where Jamtland would become Swedish instead of Jamtish.

New stuff:

- Art of War compatible.
- New faction system: Monarchists, Rigsråd & Ting will fight for power over Scandinavia. It plays together with the existing faction system. Uses Ming/Merchant Republic factions.
- Over 50 new events to facilitate the new faction system.
- New national decisions, every idea group has 3 tied to it.
- New 1444 set up - Gotland now exists as a nation and fight you under the leadership Erik of Pomerania.
- Added new "Olaf's Reign" alternate history scenario. What if Margaret's son survived and turned out to be a great king?
- Added one DHE for Scandinavia that allows you to decide the fate of Erik of Pomerania.
- Added new a new tag: Kalmar Union - Essentially replaces Denmark at the start of the game and lets you switch between ruling from Denmark, Norway and Sweden, but only once.
- Added system of integration for the Kalmar Union: Kalmar Union must now pick either Administrative, Diplomatic, Influence or Aristocratic ideas to form Scandinavia.
- Added event for the dissolution of the Kalmar Union.
- Scandinavia now has a new colour.
- What is the ambition of your ruler? Dominate the Baltic? Crusade against Novgorod? Reestablish Danelagen? Conquer Russia? You now get to choose and your choice will affect the missions you get.
- Denmark and Kalmar Union can now join the Empire while ruled by a German dynasty and with good relations with the Emperor at a heavy prestige cost.
- Added Jamtland.
- Added 3 events to signify the change in eras: Adelsvælden, Enevælden and Frihetstiden.
- Added 18 events for the establishment of pagan strongholds which spread the pagan faiths.
- Added National Ideas for: Estonia, Latvia, Ingria, Karelia, Bjarmaland, Sameland, Åland, Jamtland, Småland, Götaland, Faroes, Shetland, Orkney, Iceland and Greenland.

Changes to existing stuff:

Countries:

- Orkneyar now has a Nordic Jarldom, which is more historic.
- Historical idea groups for all new countries (or related ones) in the mod have been revamped.

Government:

- Nordic Elective is now an elective monarchy, but has been disabled until I get time to work on it.
- Nordic Monarchy & Nordic Elective can now make trade posts. Bonuses have been changed to -10% cost for culture conversion and -0.1 autonomy decrease (equal to Administraive Monarchy).
- Nordic Ting now grants 1 republican tradition instead of 20 inland merchant steering.

Balance

- Scandinavian NIs realigned with current standards.
- Great Temples nerfed across the board.
- Conquest regions nerfed across the board.
- Hirdmen are no longer a faction that makes your soldiers into gods.

National Ideas

- Call of the Sea is now 15% Navy Morale & -1% Navy Tradition Decay. (Previously 20% Navy Morale)
- Fara í víking is now 10% Foreign Trade Power and Auto Explore Adjacent To Colony. (Previously +1 Colonist)
- Scandinavian Ambition is now Reduced Native Attacks. (Previously +1 Merchant)

Events

- Norse Pagan Revival event chain disabled for now. It'll be back once I am sure that it works as intended.
- Faction events now run on a 3 year pulse, all compromises have a fixed 50 MP cost, and all faction relationship changes have been doubled.
- The Parliament of Västerås can no longer fire before the Protestant reformation has begun.
- A number of events related to the Norse Pagan revival can now only happen once.
- Slowed pagan province conversion to a 1000 month MTTH and can only happen during the conspiracy.
- Deleted events for pagan spread post War of the Burning Cross.

Decisions

- Can now only bribe, placate, shuffle and threaten factions once every 10 years. Cost and effect has been doubled.
- Can now form Holmgård out of a Novgorod vassal.
- Can now form Scandinavia with any tech level, but you now must have an owned core in Finland and Viborg.
- The Scandinavian Law now grants autonomy decrease.
- Mandatory Tingbooks, Scandinavian Law & Expanded Bureaucracy are all available without the specific idea group at a later tech level that coincides with government advances.
- Added tooltips for Great Norse Temples to let you better choose who you want.
- Great Temples now require 10 provinces per temple, and requires increasing amount of administration tech.
- Scandinavian Mercantile Reforms now renamed "Second Scandinavian Mercantile Reforms".
- Rebuild Dannevirke & Rebuild Temple of Uppsala decisions now give their target province +3 Base Tax and +1 Manpower.
- Age of Freedom no longer requires completed innovative ideas, but requires having absolutism.
- Inviting Walloon Immigrants no longer requires having completed economic ideas.
- Improved Industrialization now requires 400 ADM points, no longer requires completed trade and economic, but now requires Walloon Immigrants to have been enacted and completed expansion ideas.
- Free Trade Policy now requires completed plutocracy ideas instead of trade ideas and also now costs MIL points and requires military tech.
- Pagan conversion decisions now require 90% of the particular religion if they do not fit certain culture groups (Such as Greek for Hellenic).
- Establishment of the Varangian & Steppe puppets now changes the culture of their capital.

Missions

- The Kalmar Union can now get the Scandinavian conquest missions.
- Added several new missions and adjusted the triggers to make more sense. In essence then the missions should now follow a more logical path of expansion while giving choice of small land grab missions and large partition-esque missions.
- Made the rewards for missions resemble the changes in the main game.

Kalmar Union

- Sweden can no longer declare war on Kalmar Union before Christian III von Wittelsbach is dead.
- Decisions to inherit Holstein, Göteland, Gotland, Norway, Jamtland, Sameland, Sweden & Finland added.
- You now gain +1 diplomatic relations for each vassal or union partner in the Kalmar Union. Tags are: Iceland, Faroes, Shetlands, Orkney, Norway, Jamtland, Sameland, Sweden, Göteland, Holstein & Finland. This bonus is lost if the union breaks apart. This is added for the sake of balance as Denmark cannot integrate the countries without specific ideagroups.

Compatibility

- Changed all tags to either be S00-S99 or V00-V99

Optimization

- All DHEs for Scandinavia have been optimized.

Localization

- Renamed Estonia, Latvia and Karelia to their Nordic names to keep the theme. Thus Estland, Letland and Karelen.
