Special thanks goes to BladeSzarke for helping hunt down a FU-based bug. The issue was caused by a file clash with Frackin' Universe - some files were checked for errors and removed, while patches have been written into this mod to override Frackin' Universe.

More bug fixes:

Missing code for Chiss resulted in crashes, and stopped ships from loading properly. The issue has been identified and fixed - hopefully.
