I actually cannot get this ship out of the water. I am not sure what I need to do to get it to not immediately flip upside down underwater.

100% a starter. Even more so on easy mode. The starting resource zone can easily handle making this first thing before enemies show up. I dont see the issue about it being 60k. I used to have a 64k ship as my main starter. Thanks for this build!

60k is easily a starter
you don't get mediums until like 300k
