This is a growing Mod that adds pictures to provinces with bigger and historic relevant cities...like the hanseatic cities in the HRE or some special european cities like Paris, Rome, Venice, London and a lot more


  • savegame compatible
  • english, german and french localisation
  • over 250 provinces are effected by unique pictures
  • new unique coastline pictures for baltic, european atlantic and american atlantic coastscape each

None of the pics used are drawn by me and just used after a google search and some tweaks in paint and gimp....if anyone is offended by me using those....please contact me and I will replace them...

@aaaaa142 please test it yourself. It worked for 3.0 for me but u just made a very short text because I stopped playing and modding this game

I tested this version for 3.0 and I had no problem for this short test.

So if you can find any problems with 3.0 please tell me....

The thing is I have no idea anymore how to mod this very old game. I have no idea where to fine the files in the first place.... I still mod Imperator Rome and CK3 and will soon release a huge mod for I:Rome

@SoloYolo2 Is there a stable 3.0 version? I thought it's just an alpha yet.
I have no time playing right now but I will do sometime. I don't have a problem if someone else would mod it for 3.0 though....adding more pictures was unlikley because of a bug in the engine but maybe they fixed it with the recent updates.

Ok. Thanks for the response. The only other mods I was using included a Theatrum Orbis Terrarum patch for the current version of MEIOU, so idk why it wasn’t working. Thanks anyway!

@cameronthedestroyer well not the last time I checked. So maybe because this is heavily outdated or you are using other mods. When Meiou and Taxes 3.0 comes out and is stable to play then I will make a version for it again

The images themselves are fine, but they are not lined up correctly, and are not in the right position in the frame, causing the image to be cut off or extend outside of the province menu
