A2 Voice Pack (Rochelle) [English] Nier: Automata

(Updated reloading audio. See change notes.)

I decided after playing the A2 Rochelle replacer by, DANIAO with a couple of friends, I wanted to put her voice into the game to go with it. I don't own Nier: Automata, but thanks to Volt http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/id/voltesse for sending me the files, I was able to create it. .Vpk contains 1110 lines replacing Rochelle Dialogue, and also contains unrenamed voice clips.

You will need either GCFscape or Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools "Vpk.exe" to install this mod.

[GCFScape Installation Instructions]

1. Subscribe to the add on.

2. Go into the ingame main menu so it downloads.
Once done, close the game.

3. Go to your Steam folder in Program Filesx86. (Or wherever you have this installed.)
Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Left 4 Dead 2 -> left4dead2 -> addons -> workshop.

4. Open 973101351.vpk with GCFScape. Take the producer folder inside and drag to desktop.

5. Now go to Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Left 4 Dead 2 -> left4dead2 -> sound -> player -> survivor -> voice -> producer.

6. These are the folders that contain all the survivors dialogue. (mechanic = Ellis, coach = Coach, producer = Rochelle, gambler = Nick)

7. Backup all original .wav sound files in producer, then delete.

8. Now place .wav files from producer folder you brought to desktop from mod in GCFScape into the actual producer folder.

9. Next go to (Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Left 4 Dead 2 -> left4dead2_dlc1 -> sound -> player -> survivor -> voice -> producer) Backup the .wav files here and delete and just leave this folder empty.

10. Last to do is go into the game again, go to options -> keyboard/mouse. Set allow developer console to "enabled".
Then go back to the main menu, open the console with "~" and type in "snd_rebuildaudiocache".

11. This process will make it seem like your game froze/crashed but it is not. It is a slow process.

12. Once it finishes, it will open console one last time. Type "quit".

You're done.

[Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools Installation]

1. Subscribe to the add on.

2. Go into the ingame main menu so it downloads.
Once done, close the game.

3. Go to your Steam folder in Program Filesx86. (Or wherever you have this installed.)
Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Left 4 Dead 2 -> left4dead2 -> addons -> workshop.

4. Copy & paste 973101351.vpk to your desktop.

5. Hover your mouse cursor over "Library" or right click if needed. A list should appear. Click on Tools. Then scroll down and install "Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools".

6. Go to Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Left 4 Dead 2 -> bin, and look for "vpk.exe". Once found, right click on it, Create shortcut. Bring the shortcut to desktop.

7. Drag 973101351.vpk onto the shortcut and it will decompile the .vpk into a folder containing both "producer" and "A2 Voice Clips".

8. From here on, just Follow GCFScape install instructions at #5. It is the Same Process.
