Introducing the Ultimate Combat Mod For Total War Warhammer - Carnage in the Old World

Main Features
- 95% of Lords and Heroes now come with a Bodyguard Unit
- Longer and more Tactical Battles
- Reworked Unit Stat system to be FAR less convoluted (you should be able to glance at a unit's stats and be able to tell what it can defeat)
- Armour Piercing toned down significantly (Making armour more effective)
- Halberd Units are now more effective (like Naginata Samurai in Shogun 2)
- More effective Cavalry
- Powerful Monsters
- Deadly Magic (current very Overpowered, will balance at another time)

This mod is not intended to be 100% lore friendly, but I do intend to keep the spirit of each Faction intact
eg. No skeleton Archers for the Vampire Counts

I recommend using 2D porthole Cams!!!

Indepth Description
The Lords/Heroes without bodyguard units are
- Orion
- Green Knight
- Dwarf ghost heroes
- Morghur
-Throgg
- Any Lord/Hero that is/or is mounted on a large monster (eg Dragon, but Griffons and Manticores come with a bodyguard)
- All bodyguard units were made with Vanilla assests
- All bodyguards in a unit must share the same mount with their Lord
- All bodyguards share the same weapon damage, melee stats, armour, leadership, & ammo count as their lord.

Battles are more "realistic"
-Units can rout without taking a severe amount of damage if they are attacked in the flank or rear especially when done with Calvary
-Units that that are not flanked will fight for a long time
-Unit speed has been reworked so that Heavy Cavalry will NEVER catch up with light Cavalry

Unit Stats Reworked
- Your standard Human has 100hp, regardless of whether he is state troop or Knight
- Vampires, Black Orcs, Chosen have 200hp
- Most mounts have 25hp
- Humanoid Lords/Heroes have 600hp
- Melee Defense is now standardized and organized into Tiers
-Garbage Tier have 15, Standard Tier have 25, Upper have 30, Elite Tier have 40, and Lords/Heroes have 43
- Dedicated Missile units have very low Melee attack/defense
- Large Monsters have half the melee defense, but have double or more health than the standard infantry unit.
- Defense towers, nerfed

Deadly Magic
- Currently really overpowered (I will balance this at a later date)

New Units
- Foot Reiksguard Units!!! (Special thanks to Lieutenant A.Kouassi for letting me use his unit pack!!!)
- Sword and Shield Variant & Halberd Variant
- Black Orcs (Shields) (Special thanks to Decomposed!)

-This mod will not work with other Complete overhual or battle mods

Great mod, only gripe is that my lord got one shotted in one very low tier goblin archer volley.

No rush, I have had a good time going back and playing warhammer 1 thanks to this mod.

Thanks! the armor system won't be in wh2 version, not till CA are done with the game. I have thought about reducing infantry speed, since wh2 maps are smaller. As for the wh2 version. Its basically in BETA now, all factions done for aye aye patch. But with the new update, ill have to re-do certain aspects of the mod, so I'll just wait until after the festag update releases. I have a pretty busy semster, alot of stuff are due end of janurary. So it might take awhile to update to festag.

love the new changes especially the ruduction of damage and armor system. Have you though about decreasing infantry speed slightly? ie 30 for bacic swordman? Similar to other total wars.

Final Update (probably)
-New Armour system, the armor number now tells you the exact % of non-AP damage reduced, eg. 83 armor = 83% non-AP damage reduction
-The % ward saves and resistances values were reduced to prevent cases of 100% all damage reduction

-Overall reduction to melee and missile damage to increase battle length (to emulate DEI)
-Reduced cavalry speed slightly
-Cut health of dedicated missile units in half, as cavalry had trouble with them with the reduce melee damage

I bought WH2, will be working on a version for that over the next few weeks or months.

Can i ask how you make the bodyguard, i go on many modder discord and all of them say that the bodyguard create problem and is very hard to implement, so how you implement it?
