Fixed it!!! Turns out for some reason MSI afterburner and RTSS fps and temp tracking overlays that come with it all break the steam overlay so it doesn't open. I now have fixed this rather odd and complicated issue. My steam overlay browser was oddly and humourously filled with unattended tabs that would play 2 instances of the song over and over again upon opening the game.

So becareful clicking workshop youtube links if you have a malfunctional steam overlay due to afterburner and RTSS like I do.

That's probably what I thought too, gonna experiment with getting the steam overlay open since I seemingly couldn't get it open whenever the game boots.

Callsign_Ewok, maybe you run the video through the Steam overlay, and it runs every time you run the game.

Okay so whatever you do people don't click on the youtube link, I don't even know how it happened but clicking on it will result in the song randomly looping on your game on boot up with no discernable way to get rid of it... I have tried verifying game files and everything, plays over top of the intro's as well... keep in mind I didn't even hit the subscribe button once and now my whole game is glitched out. Might even have to uninstall the whole game and reinstall... I tried rebuilding and updating the sound cache and nope... I am trying various different things to no avail. So don't click on that youtube link apparently. Breaks the game for me.
