Blockade Runner

They were followed by a large force of light bathyscaphes, equipped with nimble hydrogen thrusters, and finally a small force of stripped down, heavily-armed fighters of the third squadron.”

Blockade Runner is a tough little transporter. While it was originally built as an armored smuggler, this compact ship can be used for head-on assault or as a flak escort for capital ships. Even without a pilot it can serve as a good sentry.

To give it an edge in combat, it presents an extremely small target and it can deploy decoys. It's coated in multilayered heavy armor with four backup gyro and power systems scattered throughout the hull, so it can move out of danger even after a critical hit. And of course, it can deal a lot of damage in all directions with a total of 12 turrets!

Blockade Runner uses ion propulsion but it is also equipped with strong, tactical hydrogen thrusters. Since the fuel is limited for a ship this heavy, it is meant to be used only in combat.

Best of all – it has two large cargo modules, and even with all the ammo it can gobble up, there is still plenty of room if you need something transported through an enemy territory.
