Islands for Ocean Background

Mô tả
This mod adds islands in the parallax of Ocean Planets.

I tried to make a background that fit the game's style, I hope you like it!

Unfortunately, the new background does not apply to the already generated Ocean planets... You need to explore new ones to see the changes (I'm sorry for that, but due to how the game handle parallaxes, I can't do otherwise...)


I plan to add more variety to islands in the future, and even other decorations (as sunken ships, islands with an extinct volcano...), don't be afraid to give me some suggestions!

This mod is compatible with both Better Ocean Parallax and Ocean Parallax Addon mods.

Does not seem compatible with Frackin' Universe, it takes over my mod.

@gileneri, I'm not the author, but the the game uses images and puts it where the code asks for it. This mod adds a different image to the game, and adds code telling the game to use that different image, This is called a "retexture."

That mod have only one cause. In FU Waterline to big for Oceanic and other types planets with huge amount liquid.

no it dosent effect the backgrounds in FU at all. dont worry the color dosent change in the Fu mod either its the same background with and without this mod

Well yes, the parallaxes sprites are blue in vanilla game, but maybe in FU they changed it to have grey sprites so they can change the ocean parallax color?
I never played with FU so I really don't know.
But my mod still works for normal vanilla oceans, it's the main concern.

Sorry for the really late response but no, its not this mod or an FU bug, its starbounds engine. Theres no way of changing the color of the ocean based on its water.

@Davi de Assis: Owh, that's weird... This mod shouldn't touch the water parallaxes, it just adds new islands parallaxes...

Maybe it's FU, but I don't know this mod at all so... Yeah :/

I don't think I will fix it anytime soon, by thanks for the feedback anyway.

In some planets where the water have different color (I forgot the type of planet, but I'm playing with FU and the water was yellow) the Parallax stays with the same blue color, what's weird.

I future updates, if you manage to make the background change the color according to the water color (not a 100%, only enough to make sense) that would be great! :D
