Coloured Air Force: Background Edition

Hey there :)

This is a variation of my Coloured Air Force - Standard mod, which doesn't colour the aircraft icons but rather there respective backgrounds. This leads to even better differentiation at the cost of being slightly less elegant.

Version

The standard version of the mod can be easily reached via the collection linked above or by clicking here.

Compatibility

This mod does not affect the checksum and should be compatible to everything that does not alter these icons.

Ironman and Multiplayer compatible.

Note: only one version of Coloured Air Force should be checked active in the launcher. You can, however, subscribe to both of them, in order to make switching easier, of course :)

Ah, yes of course, thanks for clearing that up so quickly. I guess I should have known that after 1K hours of playing, for some reason, i must have gotten confused - so never mind & keep up the good mod work ;)

Hi Daniel, the purpose of the anchor icon is to mark naval bombers, not carrier planes. In Vanilla the anchor is the only way to distinguish NAV and CAS. In my mod these are already seperated by color, so the anchor is basically obsolete. However, carrier planes use the same icons as the normal versions, thus it is not possible to give them unique icons.

hello, thanks for the mod. one small suggestion: of the carrier plane versions, only the Naval Bomber has an anchor symbol in the top right of its icon, for Fighter and Close Air Support, the icons of carrier based and non-carrier based versions seem to be identical. it would be nice, if you could fix that by giving the Fighter and Close Air Support carrier based planes their respective unique item as well. For reference: 01.01.1936, playing as JAP, looking at Taiwan: https://imgur.com/a/dGUGjBR
