Because of and due to fair use copyright law so long as whomever does not try to take credit for or profit from "thing" they may do with it what they like.

So basically said just as you or whomever does not need "permission" to make an addon for garry's mod even if it uses garry's mod content or replaces something; you or whomever do not need permission from anyone else to do something with an addon that they have uploaded: just credit garry's mod and\or them!..

I just want to add that I say this if only because I have seen so many people abusing others and so much abuse on the various workshops revolving around the "permission" bullshit that I just want to try and do my part to foster a free and creative environment.

I'm just wondering (and maybe I should have asked you first;) since you made this rather neat addon based on half life 2, would you be at all interested in porting these custom extra monitors from black mesa into garry's mod as well?..it would be really neat actually.

I will be modding again, however, things are busy leading into finals for me so I'm a bit occupied with that as of the moment. Between work on leisure time, modding is more of a work-based pastime rather than an entertaining one, so I often reward my work with games.
Once I start working on projects that are years behind, maybe I can find a way to integrate something new into what I do. In regards to this addon, there's nothing new that I think I could add nor serve as a main priority. Almost all of the primary colors have been added to the collection so there's not much to add, really.

Do you mind me asking why you aren’t modding anymore? Or is it just because yo don’t have inspiration?

No updates have been released since December 30 2018 due to the lack of inspiration and ideas. For now there won’t be any updates until I get back to modding again.

That's strange, because I use the uploaded version of the addon and it's working fine. I can start to work on this problem over my christmas break which starts 2 days from now. However, it'll be sharing space with another project that I'd be working on at the time. I'm going to start a discussions tab under this addon so people can report issues there instead of in the comments as it's adding up. It would also help to have a more direct form of contact to solve the problem quickly such as a steam chat. Until then, it'll be trial and error. Thanks for reporting the problem.
