RANK ICONS
A nice way to display ranks on HaloRP, MilitaryRP servers.

Just replace the code in cl_player_rankicons.lua with the code from the pastebin and enter the jobs name e.g "Citizen" rather than a rank title.

There's a easy config to add and remove any ranks you want and adding new rank icons is easy! All you need to do is set the correct image path and you're good to go!

The ranks are displayed off of the first word in peoples names example "Pvt. John Smith" would display the Pvt rank above his head and so on.

To use it with nutscript please place the cl_player_rankicons.lua inside of your schemas plugin folder and rename it to rankicons.lua

im trying to get this to work but its a tad difficult and ranks arent showing up there should really be a video on how to get this working as there is barely any documentation on how to get it working with your own custom things

I tried extracting the addon in order to change up the Rank names and Icons, however after renaming the 'cl_player_rankicons.lua' to 'rankicons.lua' and placing it in my gamemodes/myschemaname/plugins the ranks don't want to show up. Any advice on how to get it to work on Nutscript?

Is there a way to make it the 2nd part of the name? For people who put their faction/MOS first?

ie: MARSOC SGT Name?

I want it to pull from SGT and not MARSOC

hmmm, still doesn't seem to work. When I use the jobs plugin file for adding icons do I use TEAM_ TEAMNAME, TEAMNAME, or just the job title?

@Up1x you most likely need to place this in your server addon collection and the same for the ranks icons that you are using for your server in the same addons

Hello! Im trying to add this to my server but it doesn't seem to work. I have extraced the file and made custom rank emblems and added them. I have also tried using both the job version and name version and it still seems to not be working. Is there somewhere specific I need to place this addon besides my servers addon folder by chance?

@PrussianMedic Add it to Server Addons. Dont upload LUA to the workshop.
