HL2:EP2 Beta Jalopy for Synergy

In 2006, Valve released trailers and footage of their then in-development Half-Life 2 Standalone Expansion, Half-Life 2: Episode Two. And in many pieces of media, you could see a rusty, broken-down, barely working, Volkswagen Beetle-esque Jalopy that was completely different than what we got in the final game. What we ended up getting was a
Dodge Charger-esque muscle car that didn't look as broken down. It turns out that the texture sheet of the Beta Jalopy can be located within the final game's files, but the model was nowhere to be found (it is often speculated that it was deleted). A lot of people have tried to recreate the Beta Jalopy with their own custom model, but none did so good (like this one). However, online user TheMattyZero (AKA Proj3ct_ZeRo) had fully recreated the model, with the only exception that the physics models weren't finished (jiggling parts and spinning fan). He has since given up on 100% completing it and the files were released to the public.

Shortly afterwards, I discovered that my friends from Half-Life 2: Project Beta had a server set up for Synergy and as I joined, they told me that I needed to download some files and put them into my Synergy copy. Low and behold, these were files for TheMattyZero's Half-Life 2: Episode Two Beta Jalopy recreation, ported into Synergy. I asked for their permission to publish it to the workshop, and luckily enough, they said yes!

This can be utilized on a LAN server, even if it's been port-forwarded or hooked up via a VPN! However, if you're a dedicated server owner, you may need to extract the files from the .vpk file onto your server. Anyone who joins your server will also need to have this installed in order to see it and use it properly. In total, this addon contains TWO variants of the Beta Jalopy. A one-seater variant, and a two-seater variant.
In order to spawn these, cheats must be enabled on the server:
and you must enter this into your developer console:

Alas, that version has no speed boost, however, you could also do this instead, which gives you a vehicle that lets you use speed boost, but the seat view is slightly out of place:

Has an aligned seat view, but no speed boost:

Has speed boost, but the driver's seat view is slightly out of place (the passenger's seat view is alligned correctly):
