St. Peter's Basilica, officially Basilica Papale di San Pietro in Vaticano, is a large Roman Catholic Cathedral located in the Vatican City. It is among the holiest sites of the Catholic faith, and is said to be built over the tomb of the Basilica's namesake, Saint Peter. Construction took place across the 16th and 17th centuries, being completed on 18 November 1626. Ingame, St. Peter's Basilica provides a free Cathedral in the city in which it is built, +2 Faith in the city for every Social policy from the Piety tree adopted, and requires Acoustics.

Requires the Gods & Kings expansion pack - uses an icon and text from the Into the Renaissance scenario.

I can't download this through steam for the life of me. It just refuses to materialise anywhere after it says it has finished. Can anybody upload the folder to free filesharing site for me plz?

Since the wonder is such a faith juggernaut, the free cathedral seems a bit superfluous even if it is thematic: and it also makes it less desireable with the cathedrals belief.

I like the mod, but I think it would be a bit better without the free cathedral.
