描述
This place used to be a prosperous iron mine. Untill the day they struck gold. Golden chests, that is. Now the place is a death trap, packed with gold-crazed lunatics, tons of explosives, a massive death-pit and deadly hazards like spiked walls and out-of-control minecarts. To this very day, men are drawn to this place, with whiskey on their breath and gold in their eyes, to bathe in the blood of their enemies. Can you resist the allure of the golden chest? Or will you, like so many others, fall victim to the thrill of fleeting glory and overpowered weapondry.

Currently, this map is in beta1. So as far as gameplay goes, it should be feature complete. Meaning all the map needs now is detailing, bug-fixing, balancing and a whole lot of other, smaller tweaks. As such, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

This map has bot support, but its very basic. Expect bots to get stuck on things.

Oh wow, that's a bit more difficult to explain. There should be a guide somewhere on these forums that should tell you how to set up the editor for FOF. As far as the actual process of making maps, I recommend watching tophattwaffle's video series on using the Source SDK Hammer editor.

Dubsid,

To play this map, all you need to do is subscribe to the workshop page.

And then in-game open the developer console (~ by default, if this key does not work, you need to enable the console in the advanced options menu.)

Then in the command line, type "map fof_shafted_b1"

It should auto-fill. Hit enter and the map should load.

I'll investigate it some more. I had some plans for that area, so the problem might fix itself if we're lucky. Thank you for the information.

it seemed to happen when i tryed to get onto a horse drawn wagon. This wagon was near the top of the map a little ways from a red crate on some rails and was blocking a path leading into the mountains. That was the only instance that it happened. I thought that since i tryed to get on the wagon, that i was leaving the map boundaries, so maybe the black screen was a way of stopping players form leaving the map? Thats all i can really think of for a reason behind it.
