A little less magical, a lot more useful.

MOD ID: 923764022

My goal for this mod is to make the Liopluerodon less of a meme, and more of an actual Ark dino that matches its dossier. Key features:
  • Now appears as a Pliosaurus in-game. (Screen shots are pre-name change. Sorry about any confusion there.)

  • Does NOT replace the magical version, it is an additional creature. Basically the original is the "unicorn" to this version's "horse."

  • Works on the Center

  • Approximately 60% larger, by popular request.

  • Permanent tame. No magic buff. No sparkles.

  • Gives oxygen buff, like a weaker Lazarus Chowder.

  • Actual carnivore, instead of somehow being addicted to honey. Eats all meat with a preference for prime fish meat.

  • Tranq tame.

  • Now requires saddle

  • Territorial. Will attack you if you get close, but won't chase you for long.

  • Increased attack strength. Stronger than a Plesiosaur, weaker than a Mosa. Attack also gathers pearls.

  • Levelable.

  • Breedable through gestation. Supports mutations.

  • Craftable consumable that gives vanilla's version buff.


    Please note I'm not an expert modder. There's a lot of things I don't know how to do still. I appreciate all feedback from anyone who uses this. Thanks.

There should be a mod like this but instead adds the og T.Rex model as a smaller,weaker, but faster ''Tarbosaurus''.It would be your midway between allosaurus and the rex.

Wonderful mod you hjave! If I can make a few recommendations, I would move the player further up and closer to the saddle a bit more, and make it so the Pliosaurus sits a bit deeper in the water when at the very surface (When you're resting on the surface, the Pliosaur is sitting kinda above the water)
