It has been called the hardest level in the game. The rumors just might be true.

A NWBO-style, NWBO-difficulty level, but with wings. WING-PUMPING AND GRIPFLYING ARE MANDATORY SKILLS. You will have a hard time completing this level.

Huge thanks to Tiedye(tophat) and ibegyourpardon on Discord for testing and critiquing this first level of mine.

Hotride: Believe me, I'm with you. I've never actually done diamond myself, as I've never gotten through the tight girder section on my first attempt. I left that in as a throwback to Tiedye's NWBO girders even though I hated it. I wanted a section that forced a really low fly from a grip-jump but I just implemented it poorly. It isn't very satisfying.

Well, this is my first level, and I'm thankful to the Discord for keeping it from being a total train wreck.

The diamond medal time ruined this for me. I've had been postponing getting the medal on this level (and NWBO Heaven) for months, to complete the Californ1a air control list at 200%. Now that I did it, its exactly as bad as I imagined it was going to be. I really was fine with the level before this, now I'm not. Its got problems all over the place and they all "shine" once you go for a time.

You really need to Stretch your Wings, Omolog.

The majority of the map is about speed conservation. Make sure you're pointing in the same direction you're traveling when you open your wings.

How are you supposed to get to the top of that building after the first checkpoint? I can get as far as just barely (not?) touching the cooldown ring, but I don't get a cooldown.

Yeah there never realy was a map that challenged this special skill. Thats why I like it a lot.

I think that's precisely why this map is so challenging. While everyone else is practicing precision and thruster control, nobody really thinks about conserving momentum.

It's not really either. This map plays much differently than the NWBO series. I have more trouble with NWBO 4 than this map, and if it wasn't for me including the narrow girder flight, I'd say it's easier than NWBO 2 as well.

The whole map is based around momentum conservation, not precision like most of the NWBO series. And I am not as good at precision gripflignt/TB.

Either I've become pretty bad at Distance or everybody else has become incredibly better. Awesome challenge tho.
