Morph

Meet the Half-witted experimental shapeshifter created by Silas the mad scientist! Morph was a test subject for creating the ultimate being, able to take on the ability of any creature it encounters... but things didn't go to plan.

Morph is not the brightest or the healthiest, meaning he cannot use his body or his powers to their fullest. He will start with 2.5 hearts and ALWAYS be missing half a heart of health, and his morphing ability only works once he has carefully studied his target.

To Splice with an enemy, you have to kill a large number of the enemy in order to gain their powers. Morph does not get visual effects from any items, as he simply absorbs them into his body, gaining their effects.

Holding TAB will show you your current morphs


Splices

Boil - Shoots periodically, uses tear effects
Bony - Chance for bone tears
Poop - Occasional gas, poisoning and encapsuling enemies
Fly - Friendly insects
Horf - Damage multiplier increase
Spider - Occasional extra tear shots
Fatty - Extra hearts
Vis - Body blood lasers
Organ - All half-hearts become full hearts
Hopper - Increased speed and jumping
Gaper - Spawning morph clones to fight for you
Host - Allows you to hide under rocks and other entities
Eye - Shoots homing lasers
Biblical - Heals and increases all stats

please update this guy for repentance, he's so cool. i keep running into an issue where it keeps spawning clones of itself and it keeps spawning them until you cannot move and game crashes due to poor performance.

The idea of gaining enemies' abilities after killing them is really interesting, but it would be nice to make the list in the lower right corner more aesthetically pleasing, for example using the same style as the menu.

I loved this character so much but i cant play it in repentance, im here doing cleanup on non-updated mods to stop my game from crashing, hope this gets updated sometime :(
