Originally settled in M33 in Segmentum Obscurous, the inhabitants of the Cordana system originally came about in the name of providing soldiers for the God Emperor's Imperium modeling themselves after the Cadian example. For millennia the hundreds of Regiments of Cordana have been shipped out across the galaxy to fight the xeno, the heretic, the mutants that plague the Imperium. Yet General after General would refuse the honors shared in the history books, wanting to instead give Cadians the glory.
Yet in the Dark Millennia the Ice-World of Cordana III would come under attack by the armies of the despoiler, and the entire world would become an uncontained Warzone, such is where the 22nd, dubbed 'Cromwell's Own' come in.
