This is a functional version of the small airport terminal from my pop pack ( http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=917435358 ).
There are 3x planestops, at an angle (to minimize distance from the building). I have verified that this asset does in fact work.

A few notes:
The arrival doors are to the right of the departure doors (when looking from the road side). In reality this wouldn't really matter, however, since the game does not deal with traffic that well, I suggest a 1-way road going to the right (so that it hits the departure doors before the arrival doors).

Since this is a small airport, and the plane stands are shorter / close together to reflect that, I recommend using the Advanced Vehicle Options mod: http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=442167376 It will allow you to ensure that only regional / small aircraft spawn. Note that this terminal should be large enough to accomodate a 737 / A320, but nothing bigger (see the sceenshots).

First plane takes off as soon as you pop it, than nothing else happens throughout the game. No more planes take off, no planes land. Does not work.

@Thorimus Surface Painter. There is a concrete option, though I aligned the terminal to make it look nice (not always possible to do due to the city layout).

What do you use to fill in the space between the taxiways with concrete like that?

@testman490 The small plane mods should have no relevance (since the game treats all planes the same). There is probably a way to get it to work, however, one of many things could be going wrong, so there is no way for me to know which one it is. I can't help you diagnose it. Try using simple planestands and see if those get planes to spawn.

planes dont show up even though i have small plane mods is there a way to fix this?

@1Crafter It's not technically needed, but this asset is only the terminal. So if you want the other parts to make it not look random / out of place, I would suggest downloading the small pack.

It says you need the small airport pack for this to operate does that have some assets that this one doesn't
