Kickstart your day with a cup of joe!

Who didnt love this in Shipwreck, seemed fitting for multiplayer and was unable to find a stand-alone with just adding coffee.

Works differently then it would in shipwrecked but same idea

Beans can be crafted under the food tab with TIER 2 SCIENCE access and 10 seeds.
Beans can then be planted like a normal crop,
Harvesting coffee beans gives regular coffee which can then be cooked for Hot Coffee!

Hot Coffee! Stats same as shipwrecked. 83% speed boost for half a day
Grants 10 hunger, 3 health and drains 5 sanity per cup.
Beans have no effect while uncooked coffee provides only 10 hunger.
Cooking beans gives toasted seeds, whilst cooking coffee gives Hot Coffee!

Prefab names for those who wish to spawn
"coffee_seeds" -- seeds
"coffee" -- raw plant
"coffee_cooked" -- Hot Coffee!

Could I try implementing this into a mod I'm working on? I'm making Joker from Persona 5, and wanted to add Coffee to his ability set, but have had trouble figuring it out.

I should've said this mod no longer works as intended. One can still spawn drinkable coffee using console commands.

c_give("coffee_cooked")

But you might as well just get a mod to make you faster.

Tried this myself and it doesn't seem possible to plant the coffee "like a regular seed". I think the farming update may have changed how seeds are planted.

One can't even toast the coffee beans directly to make coffee that way. Guess this mod no longer works. :steamsad:
