The foundry wanted address some of the initial flaws found in the battleship design and so the original was streamlined and crimped back in size and armarments. The end result was the heavy cruiser. Unlike the Cruiser it can bring all four of its turrets to bare on a single target, possess greater speed, size and armor at the cost of resources. It can provide light harrasement against marauding subs with its pair of starboard and port facing depth charge launchers.
