Newfie Row House

描述
Colourful Newfie Row Houses, like those found on Jellybean Row in St. John's Newfoundland, Canada. Four colour variants in this asset.

Check here [www.google.ca]if you've never heard the place. It's around Cochrane and Gower Streets in St. John's. I just thought it might make a nice addition for anyone who's trying to add some East Coast charm to their cities. Newfoundland is generally a super place to be. More than half of my family's from The Rock.

This asset is a 1x1 Rico-ready low-density residential home. The RICO definition is set up, so let me know if you don't see it in the menu.

Cost is set to 1000.

Main model 1,277 tris

LOD: 66 tris


Diffuse texture is 1024x1024, LOD is 512x512. Not super heavy for a small building, I hope.

Custom Specularity, Illumination and Colour Maps are present. Four colour variants (wish there were more for a single asset). I had a bit of trouble with the illumination values, but I'm told that's normal.


If you want the model to iterate yourself, send me a message and I'll send it over. I had intended to do more colour variants. I may yet add them in a separate asset.


Disclaimer here: I'm not a professional, I'm self-taught and this is a hobby. I've done a minimal amount of testing with this asset and it seems to work. If you have a problem, let me know in the comments - or unsub. I'll try to fix what I can. Cheers etc!

@tklancer. I don't normally advertise - but follow me. I'm actually making a series of east coast houses - and I intend to include several row houses like this. Like, I want to do a set that, when you zone one square deep, it pops up like Jellybean Row. Kudos too! if she's a Newfie, they all rock, no pun intended. :)

These are great -- my wife was able to identify the location without reading the description, so they're clearly accurate!

@citiesskylinehasstoppedworking - I am picking away at more of these in between other things. I think were I to do it over, I could do a much better job. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long.

I love these row houses, there my favorite thing to see in st johns! glad to see them in cities skylines now too!
