2005 Pontiac GTO - SCar HD

This is a drivable 2005 Pontiac GTO from Need for Speed: Carbon. The car comes in three variants (stock, police and undercover) and with the following features:

- 2 skins for the body: white (colorable), police (colorable)
- 1 skin for the wheels: white (colorable)
- 4 manual body groups: license_plate, police_equipment, police_lights (police, undercover), spoiler
- 4 seats: driver and 3 passengers
- LOD (level of detail) support

Dynamic body groups (and what triggers them):
- damage_body (damage level 1 and higher - gray smoke)
- damage_windows (damage level 2 and higher - black smoke)
- hand_brake (using the hand/parking brake)
- shifter (gear shifting)
- steering_wheel (turning)

The non-dynamic body groups can be changed by pressing and holding the [C] key, right-clicking on the vehicle and selecting "Body Groups". Any dynamic body groups changes are retained as long as the vehicle is not used and (preferably) remains frozen with the Physgun.

A custom skin can be created using the skin template above. It must be converted to the VTF texture file format (using VTFEdit, for example) and saved as skin_0.vtf (stock/undercover variant) or skin_1.vtf (police variant) in the following directory:

\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\materials\models\red_hd_gto\skin_0.vtf
\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\materials\models\red_hd_gto\skin_1.vtf

If the skin contains an alpha channel, only the opaque areas will be colorable with the Color tool.
The default white skin can be restored simply by removing or renaming the created VTF file.

[SPACE] - handbrake

[E] - enter/leave
[N] - engine on/off
[F] - headlights on/off
[H] - horn
[V] - change camera
[LEFT ALT] - change seat
[B] - police lights on/off (SCars special key)

Once downloaded, you can find it under the "SCars" tab, section "Red's SCars HD".
