Magnum Force .44 Magnum Script

Deal with those zombies like Inspector "Dirty Harry" Callahan of the San Francisco Police Department!

I did this script because I just don't think that anything made of flesh and bone, whether its metabolism has quit or not, should just flinch and then need another round to go down when shot from across a room with a Magnum round. The default Magnum script is too anemic in my opinion.

But I didn't want a fantasy super-weapon, either. I think this works well. It works with whatever is in your Magnum slot, preferably a large bore revolver, but you really should have Nebbers's Smith & Wesson Model 29 in the game.

You get the appropriate 6-round capacity, but with the stopping and penetration power you'd expect from a .44 Magnum. Recoil is heavier, more realistic, and it's loud, but accuracy is tighter, so you can pick off zombies at a pretty decent range. Cycle times and all that are more big bore revolver-like, instead of like a pistol such as the default Desert Eagle.

This script works with whatever is in your Magnum slot, preferably a large bore revolver, but you really should have Nebbers's beautiful work in the game. There's something deeply satisfying about dropping zombies with a powerful, classic revolver like the Smith & Wesson Model 29.
