Developer Tool Kit

描述
This little mod is meant to give a developer the ability to play test their mod with minimal time. Yes, you can use the console to test something, but what if you need to test AI wieght overtime? Now.. that's a hell of a time playing a full game. I eventually plan on over-riding the (english) localisation files and show you which file it is contained by through the tool tip. Right now, this mod is more a cheat mod allowing you to use 5 different edicts to make testing something easier. Need to see how well a technology is showing up? There is an edict to double research speeds. Maybe you need to check out how easily the game's AI is handling stuff, while not being destroyed because some pesky AI want's to obliterate you, while your just watching the galaxy run. Of course, this mod is going to rely heavily on feedback from everyone, and will be changed drastically over time. Also, I'm going to include modding tools, and the links to them for the modder and/or the curious indiviudal. Making new people start modding IS AWSOME.

For coding this game Notepad++[notepad-plus-plus.org] is where it's at.
For finding code, and learning it VScode[code.visualstudio.com] is incredibly helpful. Thanks goes out to Folk for this one.
For those icons you can see in the UI (ie. buildings, techs) I use GIMP[www.gimp.org].

I haven't worked on this in forever, but it's easy enough to do.

Ooooh, I'm looking forward to watching this one grow. At the moment, the only suggestion I have would be the ability to scale the edicts? Something like 2x, 3x, 4x, etc. research speed? Not sure how feasible that is though.

Yuo can take any mod's files through Steam. As far as I know, they haven't changed the edicts format, and should still work. I'll change the version number though

Also, VScode is an open source program made by Developers.. FOR Developers.

VScode is simply put, a super easy way to search code for anything you can imagine. I still like to actualy edit some code fron Notepad++. You can save an entire game as a "project" (using the right extensions) and then search the "project" for any code you want. You can also extract every mod you have and add it to another project to search modder's code for examples for you to use. Folk was incredibly helpful in showing me the ropes for it on the NSC discord server.

Okay, I'll stop the constant updating now. Feel free to give me ideas and/or help incororate things that YOU use to mod Stellaris. (ie. I don't do models, so someone who does that regulary might have the tools that they use etc.)
