Universal Weapons Zoom

Universal Weapons Zoom is a mod that allows you to zoom with any weapon! Just like the crossbow, Universal Weapons Zoom can zoom upon a key press.

This means that you can zoom with the lovely default Half-Life 2 pistol or any other weapon!


Go to Options > Captain Fatbelly > Universal Weapons Zoom to access the options.
Options:

• Zoom toggle key (bind to a key) - the key when held will zoom
  
• Default FOV - the FOV when not zoomed
  
• Zoom FOV - the FOV when zoomed
  
• Crosshair (enable) - show the default Garry's Mod crosshair in the zoom
  
• Animation (enable, adjust animation speed) - animate the zoom, you can adjust the speed
  
• Scope (enable, change scope texture) - the scope is used for precision, choose between 3 scope textures (see the screenshots above)
  
• Recoil (enable) - the zoom will be affected by the weapon's recoil

You can prevent Universal Weapons Zoom from activating on any weapon. Open the uwz.txt file at garrysmod/data/captainfatbelly and follow the instructions there.
To get the class name:

• Open the spawnmenu
  
• Right-click on a weapon and click Copy to Clipboard
  
• Paste it in the uwz.txt file

• Choose either to zoom by holding a key to zoom or pressing to toggle
  
• Show a list of blacklisted weapons in the Options panel

• There is no compatibility with the Half-Life 2 crossbow, because it already has a zoom feature.
  
• The HUD seen in the screenshots is the GTA: San Andreas HUD mod.
