Viola

描述
A brand new way to play Necrodancer! The sprite replaces Cadence, however Viola's game mechanics apply to all characters.

Start out with a locked blood dagger, and 9.5 empty hearts. There are no other weapons, and no other sources of healing.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: When starting a map, consume the x10 hearts item, then consume the 'remove hearts' item to properly set Viola's starting health pool. Order is important - if you use the 'remove hearts' item first, you'll be locked to 3 empty hearts, so restart if you accidentally do that.

@Tamangegi-K - Everything was done by heavily editing necrodancer.xml - you're free to open the file to see what edits were made.

I'm very interested in how you made this mod. More specifically, how you made the health decrease item, removal of items from the pool, and spawning the health decrease item no matter what. How did you do it?

This mod seems really cool but whenever I try to enter a dungeon as Viola I get this error before either havingthe game crash or am forced back to the lobby with the mod disabled:

This only occurs with Viola, is there something simple I can do? I have an idea on a possible fix but I don't want to accidentally mess up my game.

I don't what I expected but the character is actually super fun to play. Since your stuck with a blood dagger and always have to replenish health, you can choose too try to always stay at 0,5 heart to oneshot everything or try to get your health up (after some math, I found out that you need to kill 190 monster to get back to full health).

Funny bug: using the "remove heart" item first (as the instruction said not to), your stuck at 0 HP, but, fun fact, the game still consider you have 0,5 hearth and they can never be filled up via the dagger, this mean you can OneShot everything at the cost of dying in a single hit.

Also, I kind wanted to know how to create alternate character (or just changing the character starting loadout, especially nocturna so that she as soulbounded item like her saber, the spiky ears and the torche of force, sinces those 2 extra item fit the character) (and without the level creator)
