Well.. yes, this is my own background, animated.. You can download it if want, I even can't add anything more.

easy steps to make it work if you don't really see new background in game :

1) Get in F:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\222880\900049896 and copy background.vpk file.
2) Paste it into your insurgency /custom folder : F:\Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom
3) ?????
4) PROFIT !

It will work after you join ANY server. Have a good day :)

Keisezr, make sure your custom folder is named correct, once a VPK is in the custom folder the game will load it just like a normal mod from the workshop basically. It could have been that you misspelled the custom folder, maybe added an S or something like that.

Another this is a conflicting mods that edits the background files in game, besure to check your subscriptions.

I had trouble getting it to work too :)

@Romanniel as I remember it is "The Armory" by DeltaMike. You can find it on 35 angry bots (public) and his private servers.

@Masher_Of_Worlds Bud, I never even check anything about reshades yet so can't really help you with it, sorry. But you can check and change someone's reshade and use my hud mod (modify it?) as base for your own mod for example. Insurgency is still alive, we love this game, i'm just really f*cked up and busy last time, too many things to do in my life.
I hope I find a time and mood to at least finish my old mods, I never published..

@you,theauthor hmm, well I'm extremely interested in something of the sort anyway. An 80s/Synthwave aesthetic mod. I would do some poking around with the files myself, but I dont know how to access the game's data files :S It could be worth it though. If you couldnt tell, ive been on a cheesy 80s action movie kick lately xD
