Xor Namelist

A Custom name list that instead of using made up words in a made up language it is boiled down to concepts and ideas.

Xor are ruled by several major clans where 95% of the population are either born into or are adopted into. They named after the concepts they embody and are:

Death, Life, War, Peace, Happiness, Sadness, Hatred, Fury, Fear, Love, Courage, Calm, Apathy, Empathy, Envy, Hope, Loneliness, Love, Pride, Shame, Suffering, Regret, Truth, Art

Names of people are seperated into Role and Clan.

The roles are generaly a verb or title describing what the clan expected from the person at the point of birth. Examples are: Warrior, Painter, Seeker, Guide and Cultivator. Needless to say that doesn't mean they had to follow that calling their entire life. Just like girls called Orihime don't have to become princesses.

So examples of most Xor can be: Guide of War, Adventurer of Peace, Pilgrim of Sadness, Organiser of Loneliness.

There is a 5% chance that a Xor is not a member of any clan and they are given the "Lost" title, an clanless Xor could be called a Lost Architect or Lost Warrior.

Names of Combat ships are very similar to earth vessles named after virtues and weapons of war.

Fleet are owned by the individual clans and are named after them too, their names follow the idea of concepts named as the Song, Omen, Overture or Meaning of their Clan embodiment.
Examples: Omen of Fury, Meaning of Envy, Song of Courage.

Civilian ships are also owned by certain Clans and are named after them. Their class names are not so only use a single concept.
