Your chamber got me thinking, something you might want to add to this chamber is the ability to land on an inset platform by creating portal to the side and slightly above said platform. I'm not sure I've explained that well so i published an example for u (see below)
It's not a glitch as such, but because it would be impossible to do in reality many inexperienced designers overlook this potential bypass to their intended solution.

I guess I could replace the goo with an empty pit and a jump platform back to the entry point, especially since this is just a demo room.

My only criticism is that it is quite easy to misjudge the jump in the last room and end up in the water. I always try to avoid using lethal components where there is a reasonable likelihood of them actually killing the player, especially as the player gets farther though the chamber.
