Yes, real-looking water (seemingly moving) would be much better. Imagine streams and waterfalls!
I am willing to remodel if and when the time of real-looking water comes.

has a very asian feel to it and those rope-bridges leading to the databank are pretty cool. on the other hand, im not a fan of the water. flat painted on water in a physics based game with global illumanion (soon hopefully) that just looks silly. and in case of them implementing real water at some point means ull have to remodel ur island(s). i think the water alone might be a good reason not to pick a island to make it into the game. maybe go for a dried out lake if u wanna hint for water? dunno.
