The Super would definitely like to race against the Lancer so it could brag about how fast it is.
Cocky son of a b!tch.
Was also sort of thinking of the B1R when I looked at this, it was supposed to carry a ton of Air to Air missiles to be used with the Radar on say, F-22s, they paint the picture the B-1R's splash the targets.
I did experiment at first with multiple faster reloading missiles, but a large plane circling near a target constantly unloading missiles ended badly more often than not.
This is a ship hunting bomber not a dogfighter remember, making actual attack runs with a more damaging payload then pulling back to reload then attacking again about 40 seconds later was just better in the end.
And like I said the CRAMS were mostly as a joke but also as a placeholder, In my current campaign I have a few experimental prototypes where I've ripped out the crams and replaced them with wacky shit like lasers, particle cannons, and an AWACS dish for mobile detection on the strategic map.
Also, regarding the Engines, if you'd like I can see if I can adapt one of my tank engines for it - they're very compact and powerful and generally fuel acceptable.
