Mapa de ilhas fictícias no estilo Italiano. Possui aeroporto e uma pista de pouso. Possui 5 bases militares. O pico mais alto tem mais de 400 metros de altura ao nível do mar, é possível praticar basejump no local. Possui uma grande área portuária.

Map of fictional Islands in the Italian style. Has airport and an airstrip. Has 5 military bases. The highest peak has over 400 metres in height to the sea level, it is possible to practice on-site basejump. It has a large port area.

I initially used l3DT to generate the terrain and initial texture with shadows from the elevations. I took some parts of google maps. At the photshop I put everything together and did the mixing and treatment.

hey, I just stumbled upon this terrain. I really like what you did with the satellite image for the map, it looks very professional! I'm a terrain maker myself and I'm not very good at this part of the process (fictional satellite imagery making), is there any chance you could share some tips, guides, or resources on how you learned to do this? Thank you!

My friend, you clearly have a talent! Keep on doing this, your work is amazing, really. This has become one of my favourite maps, just because how simple and elegant it is.

Very good to read this! Thanks! I actually created this fictional map using some land-generation programs. Then I modeled geography in an interesting way. Then I made the map texture using the base color image and added parts of satellite photos using photoshop. I'll see if I can put that image on.

I'm sorry to hear that, I gave the map a spin and it's really well done, but since it has no sat picture, it's pretty much a hidden gem. It reminds me a place very close where I live, in particoular, the mountain in Laveno that faces the Maggiore Lake, Lombardy, Italy. They also do skydiving and paragliding up there, you have to take a cable car to get up there :)
