Amongst the best Knights in all the lands of the Old World, these holy warriors, in the dire times of late would dismount for battle and stand with the army so in order that the common soldiery's morale would be greatly bolstered.

These unhorsed Grail Knights, the truest embodiment's of chivalry and justice, are designed to act as a indomitable wall against any and all of mankind's foes keeping them at bay until they may be crushed between gleaming steel and the blessed lances of Britonnia's mighty cavalry charge.


This my very first mod and i wanted to create an end-game campaign unit for bretonnia that could stay alive, encourage lesser troops and essentially stop and hold an enemies best troops long enough for a 'hammer and anvil' attack. Late game britonnia's vanilla infantry i felt, struggled to reliably keep itself alive and strong enough to properly make use of the factions powerful cavalry.

Grail Wardens are top-tier unit which require a rank 4 Royal Barracks AND a Chapel of the Lady to recruit.




Has Officer + Lord skills such as 'Grail Vow' and the Fey Enchantresses skill 'Guardian's of the Lady' and other skills should work to include the Grail Wardens

Fatigue immunity passive
Charge Defense against all passive
Encourage passive
Immunity to psychology passive
The Blessing of the lady passive ability
+20% vigor to nearby units (not self) passive ability

Still working to balance so any suggestions/feedback about balance or the look of the units would be MUCH APPRECIATED!
