sorry for reupload, previous model didn't fly well in atmosphere so i doubled up on the atmospheric thrusters. in my opinion it also looks better now.

A speedy ion/atmos fighter with a front cover that protects the main hull when lowered and, when raised, gives way to the large frontfacing window. This ship was made to be quick and not limited by atmospheres all while being able to use jump drives to follow escaping ships.

After some more testing i've found that it's difficult to leave atmosphere on certain planets when the thrusters lose effectiveness midway between atmosphere and space but i would assume some speed mod would help (by escaping through circling) or temporarily adding hydrogen rockets.
