描述
Melt your foes in heated battles on the surface of this volcanic planet!

Vulcanion is a custom map with unique challenges and hazards. Fighting for a mining facility located on top of an active volcano, you will need to be careful not to fall into a fiery death as volcanic eruptions may catch you by surprise.

Features:

- Fight on top of a volcano! Be careful not to fall into it!

- Occasional volcanic eruptions may occur, sending a jet of lava all the way to the top lane!

- Made entirely with custom textures.

- AI support.

Because of the way the middle area is set out it feels like flying characters have a huge advantage, other than that I liked the map itself and the gimmick.

Hehehe, the reason the textures look weird was because their were part of an experiment.

Basically I tried to use a 3D modeling software to do all the lighting and other effects for me, then just render it and turn it into an image. A bit of a lazy solution, but at the time I had less experience with drawing, and while I'm still not that good at painting, at least I know a few more tricks now than before.

I might redo the textures one day, but for now it'll do.

neat, custom textures
I mean, they look kinda bland and not sure if they really fit the volcanic theme of the map...
but still, neat, custom textures. could really use some improvement but having custom textures is already great
Still my favorite custom map, I'd even offer to help with the graphics if you wanted to change them but i'm really busy with stuff so can't do it

Yes! This was one of my favorite maps back when the workshop compatibility first opened, so happy this map is still getting attention. Like the added textures.

Took me a while, but I have finally found a way to prevent the bots from throwing themselves into the fire. The best part is that this solution is fully compatible with the default bots, no custom AIs needed.

Oh also, since you might update the map now I thought I'd mention that I played on it with Max Focus yesterday and he kinda breaks it in some part, like, he can attack the top front turrets by staying over the platform and just shooting down through the platform and the turret can't hit him... dunno if that's a good thing or not but, eh, details :P

Anyways I'm glad I checked back on this map as when I first subbed, It was only like 20 subs but now you've got 232! Much deserved subs. What a unique map!

Have you tried asking in the forums? It's likely they can help you there
or not, I can't see the future but eh maybe you should give it a try :P

Thanks for the feedback, glad you like it! As for the bots, I might try to find a way prevent them from falling so easily, but I'm not sure if I can since the bots aren't that smart to begin with.
